There's a good amount of confusion, and rightfully so. After all, aside from the rules in purple listed on the wall, there isn't much to explain how you got here or why you're here.

Don't worry though. It seems like you won't be left to your own devices for very long.

There's a brief moment of static - not loud enough to be particularly grating, but enough to let you know that something's about to happen - before a voice addresses all of you from somewhere unseen.

"Hello. I hope you all slept well. I was a bit worried after..."

It sounds like it's coming from somewhere above you. There doesn't appear to be anything it's coming from, however. There's a brief pause before the voice resumes speaking.

"I'm sure you all have a lot of questions for me. I don't mind answering them. Before you ask anything, I'd like you to examine the rules again. They're posted in every room."

The voice is masculine, but there isn't anything to note about it otherwise.

"I am the Kingmaker. Welcome to the Vault."

[ Okay, yes, they're getting some answers (???) but Aqua jumps into action the moment she sees someone suffering. She's quick to return with a cup of ginger tea. It's warm, so he can drink it right away. ]

Here, Yosuke, [ she says, kneeling down and offering it. ] It'll help calm your stomach.

[He flinches away from her- not out of fear, but as if he's ashamed of her seeing him like this. He even shuffles in a way to put himself between her and his breakfast]

I...I'm sorry I just...

[ Her stomach feels pretty queasy, too, honestly... but she's keeping it together for the others. ]

[He gives them both a weak and grateful smile]

[He was scared of Speedwagon before, but right now the physical contact is grounding, and he takes a few deep breaths]

[There's a glimpse of steel there, his voice finally steadying, gaze narrowing. Promising nothing but hurt if he got the chance]

Neither will I. I'd like more answers, but despite what we've been told, this Kingmaker doesn't seem willing to cooperate.

We'll just have to figure out on our own then!

[He gives her a grin that doesn't seem 100% honest, but he's trying]

[ She nods. ]
