Induction.
| There's a good amount of confusion, and rightfully so. After all, aside from the rules in purple listed on the wall, there isn't much to explain how you got here or why you're here. Don't worry though. It seems like you won't be left to your own devices for very long. There's a brief moment of static - not loud enough to be particularly grating, but enough to let you know that something's about to happen - before a voice addresses all of you from somewhere unseen. "Hello. I hope you all slept well. I was a bit worried after..." It sounds like it's coming from somewhere above you. There doesn't appear to be anything it's coming from, however. There's a brief pause before the voice resumes speaking. "I'm sure you all have a lot of questions for me. I don't mind answering them. Before you ask anything, I'd like you to examine the rules again. They're posted in every room." The voice is masculine, but there isn't anything to note about it otherwise. "I am the Kingmaker. Welcome to the Vault." |
[OOC: You can be heard just fine through the PA system, so feel free to ask any questions your little heart desires; brackets are fine, you don't need to use prose!]

I'll rule the second one if you teach me how. No relationship needed.

The King is a bit worried... if some of his citizens will become dinner.

[sigrun you were putting up the discussion of eating this one only a little while ago]

[ HE IS LIT SO UNSURE but he doesn't know what else to say about this...!!! ]
... The King was curious. [
and a bit a fraid to ask] What are your ideas of fun?no subject
[She's sure of that, seeing how everyone's reacted to her so far. But she'll shrug.]
Protecting people, searching out hidden treasures, brutally murdering monsters that infect the land to name a few. Though the last's strictly my own homeland's business. [...] Training, exploring, getting right into the mouth of a giant before ripping through it.
[All very... not Holiday Star worthy, if that's what he's asking for.]

The King does not know if his citizens can handle such stress.
[ PRETTY MUCH. ]

[Sorry.]

[ AS... UNBELIEVABLE AS THAT SOUNDS NOW. ]
But The King liked crafting ones most. Videogames let you do many things you could not normally do.

Sounds boring. Why couldn't you normally do those things?

Beak up, birdie, hold your head high! You changed the world for the better with that star of yours, at least for birds like you, so that old thing's just dust in the wind now. No need to dwell on what's already happened after all.

... WHAT IS THIS, REALLY. ]
The King... The King is very grateful for those words! The King absolutely agrees, being tied down by bad things is not good.
He does his best now, and is not the bird he was before. [ Okay, maybe not now-now with the being stuck in a Vault, but you get the idea. ]

And you're fit to lead anyone! Anyone who cares that much about his people is a good leader in my opinion, being as I have experience leading myself and all. You might be young, or you might not be young, but you're definitely got the heart for it.
[It's still weird to see him cry though. Even happy crying.]
