WEEK 7
Two more Survivors have left you; Aqua was killed in cold blood and Mettaton... well, your thoughts on Mettaton probably vary depending on how close you were to him, but either way he chose to end Aqua's life and paid the price for it.

There are so few of you now.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not...

Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible seventh floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it.

Yeah. Ghosts're a thing back in my world - I've never seen one myself, but my brother did. And then he wrote all the notes about them in the other damn journal.

...cuz of course the machine can't give anything useful.

[He sighs, finally getting over his fear to come sit in a nearby pew- still far enough away that he can't knock a candle over or anything]

I figured...it hasn't been that long, so it might be easier. I don't have anythin' belonging to any of the rest anyway.

[The only ghost he would be specifically against summoning is Norman - because holy fuck that doesn't need to get any worse - but Aqua does also seem like one of the safest bets, yes.

I know there was somethin' about circles and mirrors. Candles just kinda fit the atmosphere!

The only ghost summon thing I know is Hide and Seek Alone and I am NOT playing that. So I'll just leave that to you.

...what is that?

It's this creepy ass game where you set up a stuffed animal or a doll and invite a ghost into it and then play Hide and Seek with it. It's supposed to come alive and if it finds you it'll hurt you- so you have to find it first and like, stab it.

You don't even get anything out of playing! Some guys in middle school tried to talk me into trying it once.

Sounds more like demons if you ask me. There's no good reason to go messin' around with those.

[Although presumably at least the majority of the dead would not stab the living...]

Might be- I got about half way in setting up the doll before I chickened out.

I'm pretty sure most of them wouldn't do anything bad to us. [Gesturing at the portraits.] But I think I'll stick with the mirror for now. Maybe nothin' will happen anyway.

...I dunno, after everything in the pit...

Who knows what the hell those are. Last I checked, a normal ghost couldn't stab you anyway.
