WEEK 7 Two more Survivors have left you; Aqua was killed in cold blood and Mettaton... well, your thoughts on Mettaton probably vary depending on how close you were to him, but either way he chose to end Aqua's life and paid the price for it. There are so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible seventh floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. He wrote an entire book? So he was a writer then, or a scholar? [Didn't know... people like that were related to Stan...]

Can't say I've seen that book before. How does it read?

[Stan turns the book around to reveal a page written entirely in arcane symbols of some kind.]

He wrote three of these.

A trilogy is hardly new, unless that's a personal read. [Which it... looks like...] Is there something special about it?

It's just his notes on all the bullshit he found out in the woods. Didn't ever want anybody else readin' 'em. Unless he published someday, I guess?

[Stan shrugs, mildly stating what he knows to be very, very true.] It'd need some clean-up first.

...Was your brother attempting witchcraft?

[Because that's what this is beginning to look like.]

[Stan considers the question for far longer than anyone should ever have to.]

Maybe kinda? He's just always been interested in supernatural stuff.

I can hardly trust in that! Feels like we've all had some sort of trouble with the supernatural!

They're the same people they were before they died, ain't they? I don't think I'd suddenly start wantin' to eat your soul if I'd been killed before now.

Besides, if they start anything, I'll just smash the mirror!

Ahhhhh, my brother wrote somethin' about ghosts in one of his other books. I don't remember all of it, but there were definitely mirrors.
