WEEK 7
Two more Survivors have left you; Aqua was killed in cold blood and Mettaton... well, your thoughts on Mettaton probably vary depending on how close you were to him, but either way he chose to end Aqua's life and paid the price for it.

There are so few of you now.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not...

Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible seventh floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it.

[..... This is like the Worst Thing considering what she learned early this morning/late last night and she is so thankful that Glory can't see her, because her face is doing a Thing. At least Mettaton appreciated her and Cherryblod's stuff, as confused as he might've been.]

mettaton (the guy i love) said that people's souls are still here apparently, since he can see them (i'm orange!), so i have to ask

IT'S OBVIOUSLY NOT WHAT I'D PREFER. YOU CAN'T REALLY TOUCH OR AFFECT TOO MUCH.
IT'S KIND OF LONELY. I CAN SEE WHY YOURS ARE SAD OR ANGRY.
EVEN WITHOUT THE PAINFUL DEATH THING IT'S KIND OF UPSETTING.

Then again, what if Mettaton just laid around as a celebrity? When he was a robot. What if that started when he was a robot. She regrets not asking him more. Gotta ask that if she ever meets him in the afterlife or whatever.]

do you think you could be my scout, glory? i need someone who's got a good way around this place that i can talk to when needed

i need you to do a few things for me
1. see if there's a floor above this one. i don't think there will be? not until someone kills someone else? as weird as that is? but it'd be nice to know
2. keep an eye out for anything weird. i don't know what "weird" could be to you, but weird. strange. out of the ordinary
3. try to get in contact with the other souls here

4. you can get to places we can't because you're not corporeal. use it to your advantage and see where you can and can't go, if there's anything you can mess with
5. tell me if there's anything we've missed in the rooms here too. books especially, people seem to love those, but anything that's got unusual writing or seems out of place is good too

5. I DON'T KNOW WHAT SORT OF THINGS YOU COULD HAVE MISSED? I'VE BEEN ASKED ABOUT THE BOOKS AND A LOCKET OR SOMETHING. I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT EITHER.

4. what have you been able to mess with?
5. that's fine. but like i said, books and stuff! we found the locket in the bar here and i found a book with a list in it in the kitchen pantry, so those were kind of out of place (i guess? the list had a lot of foodstuffs so maybe not), but someone else found a book in the office (that's the one with german) and one in the library and black found weird writing on music sheets in the music room, so those aren't things that seem unusual

oh. they also found these like, really weird plastic cards that might be keys to something? i'm not really familiar with technology like that though. ask bruce about it whenever he comes up here
