WEEK 7.
Two more Survivors have left you; Aqua was killed in cold blood and Mettaton... well, your thoughts on Mettaton probably vary depending on how close you were to him, but either way he chose to end Aqua's life and paid the price for it. There are so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible seventh floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

There's also a small bit where Sigrun apologizes for how she'd acted at the trial -- no matter how understandable it might be, it still wasn't right to try and defend someone she knew in a part of her heart to be lying -- and an assurance that she doesn't hate any of them for it, because what they were doing was the right thing and they acted just as they should. It's... something she'd wanted to bring up at the meeting, but there were more important things afoot. There's also a small list of places people can find her at if they'd like as well as a request for a radio if someone has it. She wants to try something.
Having caught herself putting one under Mettaton's door got her to realize that yes, it's unlocked, you sweet son of a bitch, so she retrieves the suitcase meant for her (there's so many snacks and bras and what kind of underwear is this??) without looking at anything else too much for now. It'll be a place she returns to later and the only location she doesn't mention for obvious reasons of she did not know.
(Black, you get your nolo pens with your letter now. Grats.)
First location she does mention is the art studio, where she's determinedly finishing Woodaton's coloring and using a pink for the button-like screens because it's prettier. There is also much glitter. She's mostly free to be talked to when she's waiting for it all to dry, because after it is she is
going to the chapel, not to contact anyone but to put Woodaton where he rightfully belongs... somewhere in here, though his child-size doesn't exactly lend itself to being as cutely placed as the stuffed animals. She's put a few new items in him too, but unless someone opens it up (and surely they won't!) no one'll know that. Sigrun's also taking this time to just kind of talk to the air about a few things -- not too audibly, since it's a private conversation between Misa and her thank you whether it's actually heard or not -- but she'll stop her mumbling stories should anyone visit.
Around this time is when the incentive is, and she'll go downstairs like everyone else for it, yes. No reason to avoid anyone anymore. Company's all too welcome, even if it's during the time where someone starts to think of murder.
(By the gods, will you save them indeed.)
The next place is the office, actually, because she's commandeered it for herself, with a sign and everything on the door. Yes she may have to walk up seven flights of stairs to reach it but this Hers now. When she's not scratching protection runes into the desk with a knife (not that they'll help, probably) she's taking time to kick her feet up and... relax? Though it's more like she's staring at the ceiling in an age old tradition not her own and letting the galaxy metaphorically swirl around her.
... And she might be playing on her lyre, because of course she has it with her, with the photos of her mother and father splayed out on the desk. This isn't fair. That's not fair, if they're trapped here too, but she's not all that worried since they're as capable as she is.
(It still sucks.)
Laaaastly, by nightfall (she's been eating a little more today, guys! she might've actually had dinner with everyone!), room 13's door is entirely open, and Sigrun can be found inside laying on Mettaton's old bed, one of his notebooks in hand as she draws idly. There's a few letters in here too, mostly for her own note and comfort, but outside of that she's going to making sure this place is clean as can be and play with the little caterpillar toy. And seeing which of the vibrators rolls off the bed fastest when she turns them on.
This... is be where she falls asleep for the night, admittedly, as much as she misses having someone beside her.]
Office
[Cherryblod doesn't have his photos with him when he enters the office and takes a seat. He doesn't have them, because he knows everyone can figure out who was in his photos anyway, and he knows the longer he stares at the face of his daughter the more tempted he'll be to do something.
So he's not looking at them. What he does have is a different sheet of paper in which he's detailed his reports from the chapel visit.
The first bullet point under 'our friends are ghosts' is 'he's not here'.]
no subject
Yeah. Okay.
As... expected, really, though she can't stop the drop in her heart as she pulls the report closer to look over it. It's nice that (mostly) everyone is well. It's weird there's only six floors for them. There's other things to note, of course, but her eyes breeze over them and keep returning to the sentence she already figured would be truth.]
Sounds like we'll be busy.
[A good way to put it.]
no subject
[It sucks, and it's awful, and he already knew going in that it was the truth - there's nothing he can do for Mettaton any longer. All he can do is protect the people left.
What's the point?
He tries not to wonder that.]

Art Studio
Hey, Cap. You lookin' for a radio?
no subject
Yup. It's been ages since I've had one, even if it's not going to be the kind I'm used to, and I'd like to fiddle with it a bit.
[... To see if she can get a certain ghostly friend of hers to speak through it, since that'd be cool. Though she'll want to see if the others can as well later.]
no subject
[He hands it over - he'd thought to trade it for something good later, but if Sigrun's sending out notes about it, it must be important.]

He hesitates at first, not sure if he wants to talk to her - or if he himself is in the best mood to talk to her, but--]
...Captain Eide?
[He starts while more or less hovering at the doorway. No chance to turn back, now.]
no subject
Wow. Huh. No wonder she's gonna react just like he did.]
You don't have to hover in the doorway, doctor.
no subject
That's... good.]

Office
It has been a while, Eide-san. I was worried about you.
[Mouri hadn't seen her around for quite a while. It was true the Vault was large and kind of lonely when there were only twelve people in it, but Sigrun seemed to have been avoiding everyone.
Yeah, despite all these weeks, Mouri is still not very good when it's about dealing with other people's grief]
no subject
Thanks. I'm kind of okay now. Pinky and kitten have... kind of kicked my ass back in gear. So has a lot of stuff.
[The ghosty stuff.]
And I can't let you all be running around without me, right? So I'll do what I need to and what you all need me to for as long as I'm alive.
no subject
Our leader is the most important person around and despite everything I still trust you to stay alive no matter what.
[You may be a silly woman who gives headaches sometimes but you are a friend, Sigrun, so don't do anything too stupid, mkay]
By the way, you didn't have to apologize about what happened in the trial. To be honest I hesitated too, for different reasons than you, but I did. I think I can understand how that felt.
[He didn't help for a while because he hesitated, it wasn't because some force was away so he said nothing during two hours or so. Not that at all!]

[Just lately. She had her fill of alone time, and she is more than ready to jump back into her peoples' arms.]
What's up, kiddo?
no subject
Okay, first things first- just to get it out of the way.
...I'm not sorry about what happened at the trial. I'm not gonna lie about that. [He tilts his chin up, trying to look assured. It's not 100% effective but points for effort]
But... I wish I had done it differently. That wasn't fair to you.

Miss Sigrun? I don't mean to bother- I simply have a radio to offer, if you haven't received one already.
no subject
Oh, no, you're not bothering me at all, darling, though the old man gave me one earlier. I could always use another just in case the one I have bursts into flames at some point though. And I like collecting things.
