WEEK 7.
Two more Survivors have left you; Aqua was killed in cold blood and Mettaton... well, your thoughts on Mettaton probably vary depending on how close you were to him, but either way he chose to end Aqua's life and paid the price for it. There are so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. But that doesn't mean the night was uneventful - it seems something else may have brought you some newfound clarity. Or perhaps not... Once again, that spiral staircase leads farther than you remember, clear up to a previously inaccessible seventh floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; you've done well. You've earned it. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

[There was something like a want to drag his stupid ass off the misguided path before, but now he's just a goddamn bastard.]
no subject
[They all have a bone to pick with him, but Sigrun just has the biggest bone right now among them.]
no subject
Maybe, maybe. [And she hesitates a moment, struggling slightly with the words.] ... But it's still my own fault in first place. I can admit to that much. I just need to make sure there's nothing else being hidden from us on the people front, though there isn't much I can do there at the same time.
[Whether there is or not isn't something the Kingmaker would give easily, probably, and even if she knew there were others what could she possibly do?]
no subject
How very wrong he was... and now they all had to pay the price for that.]
...we'll just have to do our best. [At least now they're aware of the possibility, and as hard as it is, they have to try and be wary now. Wary, but not alienate one another. That distrust would be their downfall.] He doesn't seem found of doing things twice, at least, so that's something in our favor.
no subject
[That'd be nice. But nooo, it's still interesting.]
no subject
[It's interesting because its always different people, different scenarios, different incentives... like a scientist bringing in new elements and seeing the reactions to it. Everything the Kingmaker does - it just seems like its for nothing more but for his own 'experiments'. Its sickening.]
no subject
I bet he's real happy about the show he's getting in the end here, even if... when I asked him, he pretty much declined to answer. I mean, I was also pissed and pretty much wanted his head on a silver platter, but still.
no subject
[More deaths, more pain, more everything. It's all nothing more but a game for the Kingmaker to watch, and Bruce hates that. Somebody who so willingly made this happen... how can anybody like that exist?]
no subject
Sigrun stretches and leans back on her hands, glancing around at the portraits.]
... Well, first chance I get to put a stop to it I will. We'll seize a moment of weakness and make it our counterattack. Hopefully with minimal lives lost.
no subject
I'm sure the chance will come. There's only so long he can keep hiding from us.
[And as much as he doesn't want to say it, Mettaton turning against them? Is probably a sign they're getting close. He wouldn't have been asked to stop them if that hadn't been the case.]
no subject
Him telling Mettaton to kill one of us probably means he's running out of as much time as we are... or he wasn't very happy with how things were working out. He claimed not to be angry after Yato's trial but I have got to wonder if there's something else there.
[That was the week where Mettaton was conspiring with him, too, when both Bruce and that dumb robot came out about talking to the Kingmaker about the incentive. Admittedly with two very difference topics attached.
She chews on her nail in thought, dredging through what she remembers of her conversations, and shakes her head.]
Not that I could think of what outside of impatience, but you know, for all that man is he's got a hell of a lot of it. He'll be difficult even if we corner him though.
no subject
[Anything important, that is. Like why he was doing this, or how they ended up here, or... anything, really. Despite what they know so far they're still as much of in the dark as they were at the start. It's frustrating.]
I won't be surprised if he'll be exactly the same as when we're talking with him through the devices. 'It's not important', or whatever the hell he usually says.
no subject
[... And a few fingers off on the side, but she's declining to mention that part of her plan.]
Think of it as us winning his little game. He'll have to reward us with some answers, right? Either way he's dead, so he might as well spill before we end him.
no subject
If his life is threatened he might be even less willing to tell us. Especially since he knows he's the only one with the answers that we need.
[Just saying for the record here, honestly.]
no subject
... Yeah, that's true. Why doesn't threatening people ever work? It seems like it would, you know? But noooo, it doesn't.
[... not here...]
no subject
[Almost everyday its their life on the line - their life and their freedom. Along with so many other things. There's so much that they don't know and when the Kingmaker dangles things in just the right way...
The most dangerous kind of people are the ones who have nothing to lose and everything to gain.]
All of us are aware that we could die at any given point. Living with this fear for so long now... its changed all of us, one way or another.
[For better or for worse.]
no subject
[Because once that sets in, there's hysteria to deal with too, and then if no one can trust anyone the whole thing falls apart. No matter how good a leader you are.]
no subject
It helps that we're all in this together, one way or another. And that we're all aware that losing our cool won't help anyone, least of all themselves.
[Well, at least that's what he hopes, anyway.]
