Seventh.
The klaxons blare out bright and early Friday morning – granted, given the lack of windows in this place, it probably just feels early. Once again, things are quiet on the lower floors – the first-floor hallway isn't covered in blood, there aren't any bodies lying around, and things seem fairly normal to those just leaving their dorms. Of course, that doesn't mean that nothing is wrong; seven weeks in this place have probably taught everyone at least that much. Overall, though, things seem pretty sane until you get to the higher floors – where there are traces of blood on the fifth, in the general direction of the locker room between the saunas. >Explore? |

wow it sucks that even murder scenes reminds her of that jerk
Anyway, that's weird. No dust. Mostly clean. Traces of blood, because she absolutely will look close enough considering, you know, trails don't end cold like this if there's blood dripping all the way here.
... And considering the murder weapon was the odd explosive mess that is Shirazu's body, she's out of luck in that. Are the traces of blood centralized, or are they spread out, much like the remains of Shirazu's gut? As far as she can tell, with her normal albeit used to seeing blood eyes.]

... She gets to ask for another strip search. She doesn't get to join this one, again, because the fuck is a chemical, and she's never going to get to show off the sparkly bras she got.
Anything else interesting, for the stupid?]

Besides that cute thought... What's interesting about it? It'd be nice if it was still playable. Unlike the piano she investigated once.]

... One of them is an old man who's never been in here (as far as she trusts), one's a bloke who gets about much technology as she does, and one's dead... so she'll just finish putting "Sharptooth" in the machine. Good job, Shirazu!
There's not any blood on this, is there? Or the smell of vinegar, which assumedly is more where the traces were?]

...But there is something on the other side of the room that you might want to take a look at.]

She will beat you, Clyde.
While every part of her Sigrun self tells her just to pick up whatever the something is, if she can, in a stark moment of realization that it's really too late in the game for her to be careless she's just gonna look at it. What's the something.]

The thing is... metal and electronic pieces that form some sort of device. Boy, that sure is some useful evidence for you to find, huh?]
no subject
also the fuck is this thing. It's metal and electronic. That's as far as she understands. Excuse her, she needs a modern help here.
... She's also gonna assume that since this thing isn't smoking or crackling she can pick it up, so allow her to do so she she can nat one this and call a friend.]
Yooo, Stan, you're a man of the old world. Namely, things I don't understand. Mind helping your leader out?

[Stan's expertise in technology runs wildly from "does not know what texting is" to "single-handedly repaired and operated an interdimensional doom portal" so uh. He might actually be more helpful with a totally smashed thing?
What's this thing look like?]

There are a couple of things you'll notice about it immediately, however:
1. There are no buttons on it.
2. It looks like the device once made noise.
ALSO A CLARIFICATION — the bloodstains are near the strange device, not the Pac-Man machine!
And with that, you guys have cleared this room! If you have other questions, I can answer them!]

[He has no idea what this is]

See if you can make it make a noise. Like, with wires I guess? Yeah. With wires.
[... Or something. She knows this, at least. Electricity goes through wires and when you put two of them together they make a thing. Like light and noise.]

[But he'll fiddle with it a little anyway, squinting down at the pieces in his hands. He oughta swing by and get a toolbox if fixing this is what he really wants to do right now.]
There's no buttons on this thing. [So if there's wires, there should be some connecting the speaker and the thing that triggers the speaker, right?]
