The klaxons blare out bright and early Friday morning – granted, given the lack of windows in this place, it probably just feels early. Once again, things are quiet on the lower floors – the first-floor hallway isn't covered in blood, there aren't any bodies lying around, and things seem fairly normal to those just leaving their dorms. Of course, that doesn't mean that nothing is wrong; seven weeks in this place have probably taught everyone at least that much. Overall, though, things seem pretty sane until you get to the higher floors – where there are traces of blood on the fifth, in the general direction of the locker room between the saunas. >Explore?

[Cherryblod knows not to expect a Friday where no one dies. He goes up the stairs first thing - second floor's fine, third floor's fine, etc. - until he reaches the floor with the sauna and the visible blood.

He knew it. He's not surprised by that anymore, and he can only hope it's not someone he knows well.

He heads to the locker room.]

[And upon arriving there, there are traces of smoke detectable in there - not like there's an active fire burning, but it's pretty obvious something happened in the direction of the men's sauna.]

[There's that tension, an almost menacing kind, in the air this morning. Speedwagon was glad to see no trace of a corpse on the lower floors, but as he went up, there was no mistaking the evidence of blood leading into the sauna.

He didn't want to do this again...

Bruce was on the way up to the chemistry lab but the sight of blood at the fifth floor makes him pause. The dread is already there, like always, but he pushes it aside and goes to the blood. Is it leading in a particular direction...?]

[Well this may be the worst thing ever for Mouri. He leaves the room immediately, pale, and stays outside for a moment, gasping for breath. What the hell was this overkill.

Shirazu wasn't someone Mouri knew very well. Shirazu had been pretty...reserved, so to say, during the last couple weeks, and this wasn't the way Mouri would have liked to see him again.

After making sure he wasn't going to faint, Mouri returned inside. It seemed a bomb had exploded on...or inside Shirazu, but it wouldn't hurt to check: is there anything in the sauna that could be the origin of the haze?]

Bruce takes a moment to get out some bandages he has on himself to act as a makeshift... something to help him breathe better, at any rate. Once that's settled it's time to start examining... what's left of Shizaru, at any rate.

First, the elephant in the room - or well where the centralized damage is. Bruce is going to examine that thoroughly for... well, whatever that needs to be checked in the case of somebody who looks like they were right next to a bomb of some sort. Not the first time he's seen damage like this (what you get for throwing yourself to help people in a literal war zone), but it certainly isn't easy.]

[Well, after paying a visit to the scene of the body, one thought enters Colress' mind immediately. That purple haze, the...explosion? Something might be up in his favorite room. So that's where he heads. Not to do science this morning, but to investigate.
