WEEK 9 For the first time since your stay in the Vault began, no one died this week. That doesn't mean there weren't casualties among you, however – namely, trust, interpersonal relationships, and comfort in the group dynamic as a whole. Hopefully no one else pays the price for it. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. You're safe for now – unless your dreams have told you otherwise... SURVIVORS REMAINING: 10

The leader voting sheet has already disappeared, never to be seen again.]

No luck at all. I thought the secret corridor could be in here because it's the only area we aren't allowed in after a certain hour, but I haven't found anything yet.

Was a thought, anyway. Still not sure why the defense is necessary, but I'm not looking to injure myself with a door.

[He's already injured enough - bruised shoulder.]

At this rate she is going to be right and the corridor will be behind the vending machine. The problem is to get the machine out of the way.

Have you tried moving that thing? It's heavy. Destroying it doesn't work either.

[Why did nobody notify him about that? He hopes a bomb wasn't used because that'd be a terrible idea]

I think the topic was touched but nobody has really tried anything. Last time I checked the machine is intact.

I'm expecting Eide-san to come up with something outrageous yet doable. She has a lot of flaws but at least she has the initiative to think of plans.

...which brings me around to what I meant to talk to you about, actually. We're not voting for leader.

But I appreciate the support, as strangely as it strikes me.

I'll do my best to support everyone even without being a leader.

Supposed you would. That is a reason why I think you'd be a good leader.

I think I have this covered. If you want to help then...hmmmm...

[There aren't that many places to investigate. Thinking back to what hasn't been checked yet there aren't really that many options]

That bowling alley...has anyone checked it yet? It is a place I don't think fits the Vault.

[Mouri hasn't been very hopeful since the trial happened. He had tried to stay hopeful the week before, but now, well, it all is a heavy burden]

...I think we'll be doomed. It's hard to believe after two months of managing to survive we could all die at any moment if what Glory said was true, but it's going to happen.

[Cherryblod hesitates, before lightly gripping Mouri's shoulder.]

We'll do something. We won't just sit around waiting for our own deaths.

...somehow hearing from you makes it sound believable. I'm glad you are around, Cherryblod-san.

[And that was actually pretty sincere]

How is Eide-san, by the way? Is she blaming herself like she did after, um...the trial with Mettaton-kun?

Not exactly blaming herself, or if she is she hasn't shown me with Black there.

[After all, it's sort of different if the traitor is still alive.]

She's been better, though. Leading is important to her, and being someone people trust enough to rely on is even more important.

...maybe I have been unfair to her. It's just that it really made me angry she repeated the same mistakes from before. I had thought she would have learned from that.

[At the end that is the core of his newlyfound distrust of her. IF she repeated her mistakes once who says it won't happen again?]

That's understandable. Once is bad enough.

For what it's worth, I don't think there are other people left she'd do it for.
