Week 9.
For the first time since your stay in the Vault began, no one died this week. That doesn't mean there weren't casualties among you, however – namely, trust, interpersonal relationships, and comfort in the group dynamic as a whole. Hopefully no one else pays the price for it. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. You're safe for now – unless your dreams have told you otherwise... |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins; don't forget to submit your memory regains! There is no activity check this week!
THIS IS THE LAST WEEK TO REDEEM COINS!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

i guess it runs in the family
at least he can't make lovers out of his kids at this point!!
[sigrun that's
so wrong]
no subject
WOW.
no subject
she stunned the ghost]
was that too much
are you regretting calling me a good person
[But she seems in a good mood despite that?? Look, there's flowers around "good person".]
no subject
YOU ARE STILL A GOOD PERSON EVEN IF THAT WAS IMPRESSIVELY OFF-COLOR.
THERE ARE VERY FEW PEOPLE WHO ARE BAD PEOPLE.
[so many flowers, Sigrun]
no subject
[s i g r u n]
i hope you laughed anyway
because if you did that makes you impressive too
no subject
AFTER ALL, I AM NAMED GLORY.
no subject
i like you
i take back what i was thinking you and my boyfriend would've gotten along really well
he also thought (and he was right to!!!) that he was all that
it was one of my favorite things about him!
[She might be drawing hearts instead of flowers now, fair warning.]
no subject
[...other than kind of a dick about people being sad and also justified in being egotistical]
no subject
[She'll draw stars too. Sigrun's kind of always excited to talk about her boyfriend.]
back where he came from, anyway, his world's only star. like a celebrity thing
he's also a robot
or was one
now he's kind of nothing
[... Her stars continue, but they're a little slower now.]
i don't know where else to begin with him though
his name's mettaton and his title was bombastic
i learned lately that it's not actually as nice as it sounds, but i'm still taking it as that he was an explosive kind of person
because he really was
better than being meaningless or whatever
no subject
CHERRYBLOD WANTED TO KNOW IF I'D SEEN HIM.
I'VE HEARD THINGS ABOUT HIM.
I'M SORRY ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM, THOUGH.
no subject
[... Though the longer she looks at that, chalk still on the board as if to continue writing, the worse she feels.]
he deserved it like any other killer, but i still wish he hadn't died
because he isn't going to be with the rest of them
he was different than anyone else in the whole vault and that includes his soul
they don't stick around
so i don't think he's around either, even if i still hope he is sometimes
i have a lot i want to say to him
no subject
[there are a few more of the idle-thinking swirls, though.]
YOU DON'T HAVE TO TELL ME IF YOU DON'T WANT TO.
SORRY.
no subject
i have letters full of things i'd say to him
i'm not really good at letters and i hate writing but i did it to help clear my mind
he used to do the same thing
or tried to, anyway
turns out he wasn't very good at doing letters either
[... She's actually better at letters than he is. At least, finished product wise. Ha.]
i don't mind though
i just don't know what i'd say first
i think the most important thing is that he's welcome to come home with me if he still wants to, since i regret telling him he wasn't allowed to after he came out about his kill switch thing
we have a mountain to climb and stars to see and fancy places for me to be uncomfortable at
no subject
IT'S PROBABLY WRONG TO SAY IT TO YOU BECAUSE HE ISN'T AROUND ANYMORE.
BUT HE'S A BAD PERSON.
NOT IN THE SAME WAY AS NORMA BATES.
BUT NOT A GOOD PERSON.
no subject
[... It's too bad tone doesn't really come through words like this, because she's honestly curious.]
no subject
no subject
okay
[...]
he was a big dick
and an asshole
and a jerk
and selfish and self-serving and self-centered and difficult and bad about talking and a lot of other things actually
but i don't think he was a bad person, exactly
even if he wasn't a good person either
what makes you think of him like that?
no subject
PEOPLE WHO THINK THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO KILL OTHERS JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO.
no subject
She keeps to squiggles for a little bit before she finally writes.]
i don't really have an answer to that
because you're right that people who think that way are bad
but i still don't really want to say that either of them are bad people at the same time
mostly because i have good memories with them both
[That's all the reason for it.]
misa did a fancy dinner for me and mettaton
she really helped me a lot with trying to figure out how i felt about him too
and helped me understand what you do about dating and stuff
a lot of her advice really sucked for us though
her mask party was fun
mettaton requires more time
no subject
[Some more little flowers, though; there is an attempt at being supportive here?]
no subject
i don't know where to begin
um
[Give her a little bit. Enjoy more stars. There's a pretty good "sky" of them before she can think of anything, though.]
my favorite times with him were when he was quiet
it sounds kind of mean to say but there's a reason for it
see, his soul wasn't like ours, because he's a monster
a monster-robot-thing
you could see it
[She'll draw a small box and a heart inside.]
like that
he could let it out and that's when he couldn't talk. it's him at his most vulnerable
i was the only person he did it with, who he trusted completely, and he liked those times as much as i did
it was really [pause] nice. really, really nice
no subject
IT'S OKAY IF YOU LIKE THEM.
EVEN IF I THINK THEY'RE BAD PEOPLE.
EVEN BAD PEOPLE DESERVE TO HAVE PEOPLE WHO MISS THEM WHEN THEY'RE GONE.
no subject
and even if they're bad people they're still important to me
i won't say they're good people, but i think they did their best at what they thought was right
just like me
even if their thoughts are different
[...]
maybe it's just a thing for me
but in the end mettaton's kill switch thing was just a job for him, i think
i don't know if he could back out of it or not without risking lives anyway
it might just be me trying to reason with stuff though
he really really really wanted to come home with me and see all the things i talked about
he liked hearing my stories a lot
and a lot of things i did for him too
he told me once he wasn't performing around me, and at the trial he said he'd been serious about that too, and i even asked km about some things about what mettaton said about me and he hadn't been performing around me for a while, apparently
so i guess that's also why i can't think of him completely as a bad person
it's stupid i know
no subject
EVEN IF IT WAS, IT COMES BACK TO WHAT WE KEEP TALKING ABOUT.
WE DO STUPID THINGS FOR PEOPLE WE LOVE.
RIGHT?
no subject
sure makes me glad he's not around though, kind of
i wonder what he'd think of me now
[She'll draw a few flowers, thinking about it, but one goes half finished as she writes another bit below.]
i think you're a good person too, glory
