Week 9.
For the first time since your stay in the Vault began, no one died this week. That doesn't mean there weren't casualties among you, however – namely, trust, interpersonal relationships, and comfort in the group dynamic as a whole. Hopefully no one else pays the price for it. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. You're safe for now – unless your dreams have told you otherwise... |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins; don't forget to submit your memory regains! There is no activity check this week!
THIS IS THE LAST WEEK TO REDEEM COINS!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

A deep breath, and—he'll start talking; his voice is firmer than usual. It has to be. ]
Like Miss Sigrun's written, I have a lot of information, but I don't know if it's going to be particularly helpful. [ He'll set his notebook in the middle of them, handwriting as small and neat as ever. There's notes on his conversations, and—pay attention to that last bit, guys.
Don't talk about it out loud. ]
He wasn't ever particularly useful, but he had interesting answers and responses, sometimes. We mostly talked over text since he preferred his reports on it, and it was easier for me to do while I was working. [ Then all he had to do was check, not be actively listening. ]
That's all.
[ ...please don't hate him for getting back in contact with him, nor for Sigrun suggesting the idea... ]

There's a lot here.
[Idle observation, not judgement.]
...I hope some of it gets us somewhere.

[Just very business like here. Bruce is doing his best to put aside all his emotions right now for the sake of the Plan™.]

[ Mouri tried asking him important questions yesterday too; he didn't have any real answers for them. ]
He really is a cagey person—he's very smart, too. [ That much is obvious, and Black taps his fingers on the table nervously. ] All I can say is that we should be careful going forward.
...and that I'm sorry, again, for deceiving all of you.
no subject
I'm not surprised. He'd have to be, to an extent. [Bruce glances the notes one more time before he puts them down and glances at Black.] ...thank you for letting us know.
[...its the closest Bruce can come to accepting his apology.]

The jig is up anyway. There's no sense in me hiding information from any of you anymore, and... it's part of my agreement with you all. [ his atonement. the punishment portion. ] If there's anything else I can do, please don't hesitate to ask.

[He's pretty sure others will probably have something but as for Bruce... this is probably as far as he'll let himself handle this. At least until he feels better about any of this.]

I can't speak for all of us, but I can say that I believe that.
[Everything about Black's information seems to line up with what they'd heard before. It's kind of fascinating, really.]
...Quite a bit here that we could use, if we're careful.
no subject
Maybe to figure out who he is. [ ... ] Miss Sigrun's got a lot more on that front than I do.
no subject
[He trails off.]
'Least you came clean, that's what matters.
no subject
But that isn't the type of sentiment you share at a table like this, so Black nods. ]
Maybe you would've, maybe not. He's a bit tricky to work with.
no subject
Hard to get along with, but the sort to listen in on everything that might be even slightly important.
no subject
[Trades. Gossip. Twenty questions.]
... I've got some new things to ask too, ooh. Maybe he won't hang up on me this time.
no subject
[so... check your S-link?]
no subject
[A shrug.]
Can't say I really learned anything though. It ended up being pretty much like any old conversation we had.
Except he hung up on me, like I said. I pushed on something he didn't want to talk about a little too hard and wore him out.
[... So.]
