Week 9.
For the first time since your stay in the Vault began, no one died this week. That doesn't mean there weren't casualties among you, however – namely, trust, interpersonal relationships, and comfort in the group dynamic as a whole. Hopefully no one else pays the price for it. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. You're safe for now – unless your dreams have told you otherwise... |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins; don't forget to submit your memory regains! There is no activity check this week!
THIS IS THE LAST WEEK TO REDEEM COINS!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

You can get away with that too if your character's been a shut in or had a lot of time to read or whatever too. [ a shrug. ] It's up to you. I probably wouldn't peg you as a cleric-type or something though. Your luck's a little awful, and we really don't need our healer to have that if we're in a battle and we're all about to die or something because Miss Sigrun thinks it'd be cool of us to face a Beholder or... whatever the equivalent here is, I guess.
[ .......... ] Beholders are generally bad business, by the way. Dragons, too.

[...]
Dig a ditch, slice their underside. Shower in their blood and you shall gain invulnerability, taste it and you shall learn the languages of the birds. Eat a dragon's heart and you will gain wisdom beyond mankind.

Do they blow things up? I kinda wanna blow things up.
...and I'm not eating a dragon that sounds gross.
no subject
They can. [ They're going to have so many explosions...... ] Wizards too. There's some difference between them, I'm pretty sure, but it's been a while since I played.
If you pick up tinkering you can make bombs and things like that too. [ ... ] Exploding arrows. Cool stuff.

[Someone is sounding in better spirits.]
no subject
Oh, if that's all it is, then it really isn't so bad. [ ...black no??? ]

[But 'scaling' makes him think fish and thinking of fish makes him think of EATING fish and thinking of eating fish, with their blank jelly eyes and slimy guts and cold flesh-
-excuse him, he needs a moment]
no subject
I didn't think you'd react that badly to it. Sheesh, I won't make you eat one if you're that scared of them.
no subject
[He's gonna put his head down now]
no subject
She'll... pat his back?]
Anyway, don't worry about it, I won't make anything too hard for you guys. I'm learning too after all. Just pick what'd be fun for you to act out and then give it your all!
no subject
Okay then... wait, Black you said something about arrows?
no subject
Yeah. Exploding arrows. [ ........ ] You probably won't be able to make them though, and even then, you'd only be able to use them if you used a bow.
[ Crossbow is probably not... a great idea for that... exploding bolts sounds like a horrible idea? Fantasy or not? ]
There's a couple classes that can, with ranger chief among them.

[flip page]
no subject
Do rangers get anything cool?
[Can they blow stuff up?]
no subject
You can have a pet? [ ...that's cool right. ] It... you know what, since Miss Sigrun's DMing by the rule of cool, you can probably make it anything as long as she thinks your backstory with it's awesome enough.

Fine. But you're explaining raptors to Miss Sigrun and anyone else who doesn't know what it is.
no subject
He pulls over a piece of paper and doodles on it.]
Like that, Sigrun.
[Black if you say a damn thing about feathers he's hitting you]
no subject
Except with feathers. They were feathered dinosaurs.
[ ...........nvm my friends ]
no subject
So like a bird with teeth and claws.
no subject
Yeah, sorta? Only like.
[He holds a hand out to indicate height... which is very obviously movie based, not the actual tiny animals they probably really were]
