Week 9.
For the first time since your stay in the Vault began, no one died this week. That doesn't mean there weren't casualties among you, however – namely, trust, interpersonal relationships, and comfort in the group dynamic as a whole. Hopefully no one else pays the price for it. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. You're safe for now – unless your dreams have told you otherwise... |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week nine of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins; don't forget to submit your memory regains! There is no activity check this week!
THIS IS THE LAST WEEK TO REDEEM COINS!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

In a way, I thought of him similarly to a man I once worked with.
Well, at the beginning of my stay here I thought I was still working with him.
Either way, he ran a very large operation, and was not a good person either.

Sometimes bad people are the ones who hold the key to what you are after.
At least, that is what I believed at the time.

AND WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE NOW?

But I do disagree with my approach with regard to Ghetsis.
I should not have assisted him in getting away with the amount that he did simply because it would produce results.
In other words, the key I sought at the time did not need to come at the price that it did. I allowed it to be that price.

WHETHER THE COST IS ULTIMATELY WORTH IT OR NOT, THAT FACT IS WHAT IT IS.
IS IT SOMETHING LIKE THAT?

I believe you are onto something there, Glory.
It takes a certain sort of person to disregard whether their actions are right or wrong in order to fulfill their goal.
I am far from a good person in that regard, I do realize that.
[Another pause, as he thinks about that.]
I have to wonder just what collection of keys the Kingmaker could be holding right now.
no subject
AT LEAST I THINK SO.
AS FOR THE KEYS, HE IS PROBABLY HOLDING A LOT OF THEM.
GIVEN THAT IT'S LIKE I SAID AND HE IS DEFINITELY A BAD PERSON.

[He's not sure if he can completely agree after what he's done in the past, but the thought is appreciated all the same. He'll draw a happy Klink this time. Look, they can look happy too even though they cannot physically emote!]
I would like for us to discover those keys at some point. Sooner rather than later, if what you said before is correct.
Also, might I ask how you define good and bad people?
You seem to have put some thought into it.

NOT EVERYONE THAT KILLS IS BAD.
SEVERAL OF THE PEOPLE HERE WHO HAVE KILLED ARE NOT BAD.
AND THEN THERE ARE PEOPLE LIKE MISA AMANE AND METTATON.
THEY'RE BAD PEOPLE.
PEOPLE WHO RUN GAMES LIKE THIS ARE BAD PEOPLE.
[...]
NORMA BATES IS ALSO A BAD PERSON FOR A LOT OF REASONS.

Seeing Misa there also makes him frown a good deal. He still has so many conflicted feelings about her. Mettaton too, of course.]
I see. That does make sense, I think.
I had a rather difficult time understanding the motivations behind the murders earlier in this charade, but...
Now I am beginning to see that that perhaps they did have valid reasons for doing what they did.
Miss Misa and Mettaton, though... Indeed, theirs were a little more difficult to take in.
[He's probably biased in regard to Misa, but...he can't really help it anymore.]
