Final Investigation.

You've all done very well to make it this far, but it's not over yet. The klaxons blare out today, as they always do – there's no reason they should do any differently, not least of which because it's a Thursday; strange things usually don't happen around here until Fridays, and there's no reason to think that today will be any different. But as soon as you awaken and get a glimpse of what's happening down that first-floor corridor, it becomes very apparent that that's far from the case. The usual rooms on the eastern wing of the first floor are gone entirely, replaced by more of that glossy black that coats the courtroom; it's a little vertigo-inspiring at first, but it's not dangerous. Of more interest, then, is probably those three rooms that seem to be waiting for you – one to the north, two to the south. Choose where you're going to go. Look around for a while. What else are you going to do, after all? >Explore?

Kidding! The screen lights up, so hopefully you guys were prepared to be momentarily blinded. Sorry.

The screen is sectioned off into a good amount of individual, smaller screens showing all the areas of the Vault... except the missing part of the first floor, of course.]

So we're an observation area. Probably like the ghosts saw before. But the first floor's not here...

[Well, at least the bathrooms are safe.]

Second button warning, everyone.

[Thankfully you won't be blinded again, but you'll find that the screen covering the first floor hallway between your dorms is now zoomed in.]

[Well, that's nice to know. He has a decent camera.]

[Third button pressed! We're going to be here until he presses every damn button on this thing.]

[This time you're zooming in on the second floor hallway!

...To speed this up a bit, most of the buttons will zoom in on some section of the screens above.]

[Okay, awesome. Do any of the buttons on the center control panel do anything else?]

[Nothing too interesting. Pressing the same button multiple times will cycle the camera through different angles of the same room and zoom in and out, but ultimately all you're looking at for the center panel here is observation.]

Looks like it's only spying here.

[Time to go investigate the left panel! If nothing's labeled again, he'll just press a random button - if it is labeled, then he'll... read the label, I guess...]

And he has even been able to see within our rooms... We were not safe from his gaze practically anywhere.

[Well, he probably has to be able to see every murder going on, doesn't he? Even the ones in their rooms... Ugh.

As Cherryblod heads to the left panel, Colress will be at the ready on the right side, observing the buttons there.]

Suddenly very glad I changed in the bathrooms.

[Murders are one thing, but nobody needs to see him naked.]

[This one's a bit more complex! You've got buttons, sliders, and dials! Just look at all this tech!!

There's a small screen above this panel as well, complete with a button next to said screen.]

If we needed more of a confirmation that the Kingmaker can move things around, then this is certainly it.

Right. It was supposedly on the second floor, but now it's here.

When we investigated the second floor last week, I noticed that the beams in-between the walls had shifted slightly. It very well may have been there before, but changed positions to...wherever we happen to be now.

Definitely not something that would happen normally. If the whole - whatever happened to the first floor wasn't proof enough that things move at the Kingmaker's will.

Not to mention the mysteriously-appearing stairs and floors.

...I wonder if this is the room that he does all the moving from as well?

Yeah, makes sense. Weird magic moving rooms or not the floor above it would still need the support, right?
