Mettaton doesn't really wait for the others to join them; he just leaves back through that section of wall they entered from, calling something back over his shoulder. Oh, I should probably apologize for intentionally antagonizing you a few times. I didn't really know what to do with you and I was really messed up by... well, everything. So I took it out on you. [As fucked up as he is by what happened in his game, it did lead him to meet Mettaton and he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his robot bff here. Working with Mettaton was wonderful so he can't say he's sorry about this murdergame fiasco.]
