WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Sure, I'd like that. [ He's not usually too up to fighting with others, but these circumstances were different, and it's not like Gangrel was fighting him for the same reason Red Magnus did.]

You'd have to ask him. [ He's still kind of miffed about it, but there wasn't really a point to being so with Christo being dead.]

...I'm pretty sure the ones that went off would have done something no matter what we did for them. Sometimes people just...do, there's not much we can do about it.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't try to get people to sit down and not kill the hell out of each other, but sometimes it's not anyone's fault but their own if they do.

[Maybe Alani is the exception to that, who knows. But he's pretty sure there isn't too much they could have done for Kyrie and Kira either way.]

[...That seems to strike a chord with him, actually, and he stops for a moment before figuring out what to say.]

[Even Weavile, an ice type, seems to be a little down about this sudden turn in conversation topics.]

Why did they make you swim in that? Isn't it dangerous?

[That isn't much warning, but it's enough to cover his face, at least. Weavile on the other hand looks slightly annoyed at exactly how soaked he just got.]

He's the perfect size for cuddling with. And for knocking someone over, if he really wants to and you're not careful. [ ... ] The day this picture was taken, he went to sleep in Yuuri's bed instead of mine. That traitor.

[ It's affectionate, though; Makkachin is his furry son and he's actually glad he likes Yuuri enough to sleep in his bed. ]

[he can BREATHE AGAIN oh thank god, he's splashing him half-heartedly, trying and failing to look mad]

I'm gonna remember that the next time you're bein' annoying, you know, ticklin' does a real good job of shuttin' you up. Plannin' on stayin' in here the whole night, or can I expect you back in bed with me sometime?

[You know, his hair's a pain in the ass to dry, so if Gold wants to take care of that, he's not going to stop him.]

[The night time alarm hasn't gone off, right? He can still grab dinner...]

Not really. But, I know how to use them like that if the need arises.

[ It's not very elegant so he doesn't throw knives or small blades/swords (besides him being used to using only his own blade), but the knowledge is there. Kind of like how he magically knows how to read a book without ever having read one before. ]

First, when you're in position, make sure your stance is straight, and a little loose. I suppose this goals without saying, but make sure you're facing your target, and make sure you're not gripping your knife too loosely, or it can fall a shorter distance than the target.

Easy to follow so far, right?

[There's a pause before a reaction, not quite hesitance but clearly not his usual.]

...so, wait. Do you replace the past you, or do you just... exist in the same space as them, so there's two of you at once? Or like... does running into yourself create a time paradox and erase you both from existence or some crap like that.

[He shakes his head.]

MEETING

[ Chiyuki isn't with them anymore and as the remaining figure skater Viktor feels like he should be one taking care of the meetings now. Shortly after the incentive, he starts making flyers and puts them up on the fridge and in various places around the school: ]

Meeting. Bar. 7pm.

[ Viktor adds a cute doodle of himself because why not, and slides notes under everyone's doors to make sure they all know about the meeting.

Unless you bring your own, the only food in the bar is the fried rice Viktor made. It's nothing particularly fancy but it tastes decent. And if you want something to drink but don't want any of the booze available in the bar, there's water and orange juice. ]

[alchemicals]

[Kimbley will listen to all that, and by the end of it he's gone very still.

"I've held up my end of the bargain. How about you?"
"You don't have to worry; I'll guarantee safety for you. See, you're under the protection of- "

He pushes away from where he's been leaning against the wall; his expression is dark, but as usual he still seems at least vaguely entertained this time around.]
