WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 23 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 22 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20

[ After what happened to Milla.

Orihime finally moves, her feet quietly shuffling so she falls alongside of Jasper. She doesn't move for a few moments, still shaking from the shock of Mercy's death, but she at least acknowledges Jasper's presence. ]

Jasper-san... L-Let's....let's go...

[acherontiastyx]

[ay little mama let me whisper in your ear... I mean, uh.]

So. You think you could get away with having him keep an eye out in the kitchen and the mail room at night.

[She'll take both answers.]

Can you tell me about it? Being at the Police Academy.

Infirmary

[officerhops]

[Remember that conversation Judy had with you reeeally early on about blood sucking and whatnot? Well, it's coming to mind now as Judy wanders into the Infirmary for one reason or another, her notebook in her paw as it usually is. She trots over to where the cabinets are, probably planning on taking inventory as she's been doing.

And just so she's not awkwardly in here, she'll try to make small talk while she works.]

So uh...are either of those doing anything for you?

You know, for as risky as it sounds, I still can't help but wonder if whoever wrote those notes actually managed to do it.

[Oh, Gold's regains are just as...colorful as Hanyuu's from yesterday. She approaches him when he's reading the interview, but- ...gets a little sidetracked.]

...Are we all receiving dolls of her?

[Why hello there Nick! Watanuki was actually hoping to run into you.]

He's no scarf, he's actually proof of everything I've been telling you.

[He holds out an arm towards Nick, and Mugetsu crawls down it curiously. He looks between Nick and Watanuki a few times, before ultimately settling on staring down Nick.]

Remember how I told you that there's good, kind foxes out there? Well, this is one of them. Meet Mugetsu.

I do too, but trust me, it's beyond risky.

[foundfate]

Yeah, he's always been pretty attached to me. Sometimes he'll hide in my coat and come to school with me too.

[In the background, just outside of Watanuki's line of sight, Mugetsu twists his tail around into a shape that vaguely looks like a heart. He loev the noodle.]

[introspects]

I'm going to investigate the sewing room sometime today.

[ helping ]

We can't keep saying "that thing" or "that creature" all the time.

Yeah, isn't he great?

[...he knows this is gonna freak most people out so he kind of puts a hand on the Ariados's abdomen to keep him from walking on up to investigate.]

This is one of my good old buddies!

What do you mean? He's going to make it a rule that we can't fight against it?

[ This is just sad. Mercy tried to fight it... ]

[foundfate]

[Good he loves attention, and will gladly make happy little squeaks at that.]

You never know, it's written in the rules that we can get ki- er, hurt here.

Yes, that's...what I thought. ...If it's too difficult, Kage or Kageshi carry the same meaning, mostly.

[foundfate]

[...Well that was weird.]

Yeah, he's super-friendly. But, um, Inoue-san. Are you alright?

[introspects]

[ ...Return to the time after Ginjo was defeated, warn the others about the impending war, talk to Uryuu and convince him to stay with them--could she really do all of that?

No, it's...the war will happen, anyway. But maybe...maybe she could warn Urahara-san and Yoruichi-san about the Soul King-- ]

[foundfate]

[Mugetsu opens and closes his mouth a few times, acting like he's gonna bite Guzma, but instead he just boops Guzma's hand with his face.]

...Okay maybe he won't bite you. You're one of the ones with pokemon, right? He's gotten along with the others so far, so I guess it makes sense that he would be alright with you too.

INVESTIGATION

[introspects]

[ Orihime realizes that apparently people had been investigating some rooms. Here she'd been, mulling over things she cannot change; perhaps this is one way she can help, at least.

After the meeting, Orihime heads up to the sewing room to see what she can find there.

Let's check the cabinet in the corner first. ]

[foundfate]

Kudakitsune, yes. But his name is Mugetsu.

[Mugetsu is also absolutely delighted to see Gold, because he has a pokemon and he's friendly with the pokemon so that totally makes him a good person. Mugetsu chirps happily at Gold, but will ultimately go to see what Aibo is up to.]

[foundfate]

[Tough exterior. Soft, cuddly interior. Watanuki understands that type of person it's ok.

And tbh Mugetsu will probably chill there until he's kicked out or until food is ready, because food trumps all.]

That's very nice of you, you know. Hopefully Weavile doesn't get too jealous.

[TEASE TEASE but ok time for cooking. Is Silver just hanging out while Watanuki cooks?]

...What happened?

[He's hopping out of the pool, grabbing a couple of towels, and sitting next to Hanyuu. Better to be by her side than soaked.]

Yeah, it's some weird mix of sand and water that's supposed to be really hard to get out of. Since we're indoors I doubt it's gonna be an issue.

But anyway. Dang. That's cool as heck, but it sucks you can't do it here. If you could, I guess you could find a way in and punch the heck out of that Wordsmith jerk.
