WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 23 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 22 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20

We had to do a lot of things. There were nine of us at Dcom before that, but only eight of us woke up to find ourselves in the game. I guess the old man was too... disabled to really do anything, though.

[Seriously. Blind and deaf, what reason does he have to live...]

When we did, we were divided into three teams, we'd already put into distinct, isolated wards of a bomb shelter, and told that we could only get out once six of us were dead.

Absolutely. Ice cold climates or blistering hot deserts aren't going to stop me, even if they should by all rights. It'd take way, way more than that to take a bunny like me down.

How do you know that there will be one?

I don't know if it's risky. The rules of time travel are probably different for all of us. I agree that they were probably desperate, though.

Because my consciousness spent a few hours in 2074.

[That wasn't really of her own volition, though.]

While I was... then, I guess you could say, I was put through what I guess you could call a training exercise, and I learned that I could send my consciousness across space and time into parallel worlds.

[There isn't anything off about the machines either. They're just as new as the other appliances here, but otherwise there's nothing to note here!]

[ Orihime understands the secret now, and that's not something she's going to fault Hanyuu for at all. She never did, never has. Rika is important to her. Of course the time they shared is important. ]

I believe you'll find a way to save her and make things right. That's...the kind of person you are.

[There actually doesn't seem to be anything off about the tables or the walls!]

[ What about near the supplies (thread, ribbon, etc.)? Or are those in the same place as the fabrics? ]

[You've got the fabric bolts in one cabinet, but you've got a lot of different drawers and other cabinets to look through! Will you look through them all, Orihime?]

...You can't cook? Really?

[But Mikazuki is... He's pretty old, isn't he?]

[Excellent! In one of the drawers in the middle you'll find a lot of ribbons in plenty of colors, but more importantly are the things in the back...]

I won't deny that, as much as it gives me an advantage in terms of how much of this I can handle.

[Although that was more than just the Decision Game.]

It was how we got out that went badly.

[ Orihime digs through the ribbon drawer entirely, so let's see what's in the back, then?! ]

[Be careful not to prick your fingers! You'll find some needles and pins back here, along with some incomplete flower hairpins. It looks like they were made from ribbon and cloth and the pins are still holding them together. There's four of them!]

[She- well, it's not a smile, but she appears grateful.]

Thank you, Silver. I...I pray that we can find the world where she survives. [And that there's enough of them left when she does.
