WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. [nods] He wants everything to be the way it was, before me and Stephanie got there. It was... very well-named, back then. And he thinks the best way to do that is to run me out of town forever.

[ Well the events of today are as good a motivation as any to finally try his luck at the vending machine, something he's been kind of putting off. As a result he has a lot of coins to put in (20 to be exact), and he just dumps them all in at once. There's a lot of stuff that comes out, and as luck would have it: a trident. It's not his sword, but he certainly knows how to use spears, so he'll take it. While he's not going to leave out the items he doesn't want for taking (seems like some of Seraphina's habits have rubbed off on him), he does have the items out on a table for a while as he makes multiple trips to his room to store it all if anyone wants to ask for something.

After he makes a brief stop at the foyer to just kinda stare at the shadow thing-- he's not gonna interact with it, but it's presence is unsettling as it reminds him of someone. Finally he's off to the dojo to spend a few hours praticing with his newly found trident. It's not hard to realize that he's pretty experienced with it, even if it's not his weapon of choice.

Killia's pretty much spent after all that, but when he gets back to his room he's still a bit on edge. It's too late to cook something now, but he could... well he'd feel weird showing up empty handed, and a glance over at his item pile presents a suitable enough choice. He heads over to room 8, but doesn't knock too loudly as it's pretty late.]

[ His amusement is short lived as soon as she throws the next punch. It's another dodge barely, though this time it throws him off balance as he tries to recover. If she's quick enough, this is definitely her chance to land a solid hit.]

[Huh, that's a lot of someone's stuff sitting out. Time to poke through it like the nosy jackass he is!! Most of this isn't of any interest, but there's one item in particular that stands out and Gangrel lights up the moment he sees it.]

Is this...? It is! I can't believe it's here...!

[He picks up the Exalt's Crown and studies it for a moment before letting loose with the evil laughter, um. I'm so sorry???]

I suppose it's possible? Most Mages don't require that, though. I'm not sure what would cause Dark Mages to need that.

[he nods, and then fucks off for, like... ten minutes, actually, because he decided "well there's probably some stuff in the infirmary that could help," and he ends up coming back with an armful of medical stuff, which he brings into the room and drops on the bed.]

[psh he didn't bring an apple what is he an amateur. he brought grapes those have more iron in them.

[She really shouldn't be approaching this thing. It's killed four people, not including those who were executed. But she didn't survive a thousand year-long war by being cautious. She steps towards it, not aggressively, just staring at it.]

[Well, he did say to find him in the dojo if she wanted to train, so that she does. She's regular white and pink outfit, but it's also what she works best fighting in.

It'd be quite amusing if you did, by the way. There are many men who have tried to justify their actions as "for the good of..." something or other.

[ Maybe he's too easygoing sometimes, but it does help keep down stress levels. ]

I am also not surprised you earned a name for yourself. Although, I have to say that title sounds somehow a bit more graceful than "Demon of Owari".

[Varric was on his knees in front of the heap of stuff. He'd spotted a somewhat familiar book, but given the misleading nature of some of the titles they'd come across so far, he didn't get his hopes up. Nevertheless, the familiar heraldry of Kirkwall had his heart in his throat as he lifted the book up.]

[And there it was -- the carefully printed images of himself and his former companions.]
