WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. He did say the plan would work... but he moved Q-team to the other side, where they'd die because of it. Sigma tried to stop the bomb from exploding, but... he was too late.

At the time, I had no explanation.

But those people had been gathered for the Nonary Game, as it was presented to us. Unlike here, the MC had a face - kind of rabbit-ish, although I always called it a rat to its face. Called itself "Zero III".

Anyway, the rules were simple. Everyone had three points, and if you got mine you could leave.

[ He's not sure he buys the risk angle, but Killia's always been one to just plunge head first into things.]

If he's leading us to him he's making sure to thin our numbers first. He's got to screw up at some point, he might have already. A bunch of them were trying to talk to the shadow creature.

[ As the fight goes on, it's clearer that he is too-- no one else has really seen him like this (Gangrel got a glimpse), when he fights unihibited. Because when he fights, it's nothing like how he normally holds himself, but wild and unbridled.

Eventually they need to stop because there's probably a lot of hit trading back and forth, and this is supposed to be just an exhibition match after all. He's panting (and bruised) by the end of it, but hell did he enjoy it.]

A little bit, although gaining points didn't require killing anyone.

To gain points, we played a short "AB Game" against one or two of the other people. You and your opponents would choose to ally or betray, and each gained or lost points depending on what they picked. Two each if you both allied, no change if you both betrayed. If one allied and the other betrayed, the team that betrayed got three and the team the allied lost two.

If you couldn't input a vote before the deadline, you automatically allied.

[ It seems the two of them are learning new things about themselves, not that Mikazuki minds at all, in the slightest. ]

[ If he wasn't holding the bouquet he'd have rubbed at his back or something or other. All he can do is continue to hold Killia now... and for now, that was acceptable. ]

[Judy raises a brow at Watanuki, folding her arms over her chest.]

I wish none of us had to be. But the fact is that we are, so we're just going to have to make the best of it.

Oh, don't worry. I don't think I could fight you even if you did something to warrant it.

I hope you're holding up okay.

[Jasper looks excited, and cheerful once the fight has ended. She's panting, a little bruised, her hair is a mess, but she looks alive in a way she hasn't through most of the time here.]

You are an incredible warrior, Killia.

Not everyone has control of a monster made of shadows, either. I suppose.

[ For some reason those words amuse him, though he's not sure why. It's not like he's a stranger to hearing such things, but this was different somehow.

He's content to stand there for a while, however awkward it is, before he realizes they could get more comfortable.]

We should sit. [ The only problem is he doesn't know where, they could sit on Mikazuki's bed but he's never sat on someone's bed in such a causal manner (or at all). The floor seems like not the best choice either, so he's hoping the other man decides for them.]

[ Well he's definitely not thrilled about that answer and his scowl shows it, he does understand. Oh does he ever understand that mentality of not putting oneself first when it came down to it.]
