WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 23 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 22 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20

[This week's memory isn't nearly as bad as last week's. On the one hand, she hates to think that Talon has even one more agent on their side, but on the other? At least it's not someone coming back from the dead.

Mercy is in an even better mood once she stops by the vending machine. She has a photograph, and she can't help smiling.

Later, she can be found looking over the infirmary - they've needed something like this. This is the kind of medical station she's more used to.]

[Seeing the woman smiling gets Varric smiling. It's been a shit almost-month, so the fact that somehow, people were still finding ways to be in good spirits was uplifting for the dwarf. Not to mention a point of curiosity.]

Whatcha got there, Doc?

[She passes over the photograph.]

It's a photo of most of the old gang. It's not all of us, but it's good to see their faces.

[She'll point to each of them in turn.]

On the left side, there's Tracer - Lena Oxton - with the spiky hair, Gabriel Reyes on her left, Winston, and Ana Amari. On the right is Jack Morrison, our Strike Commander, myself, Reinhardt Wilhelm - you would like him, I think. Jesse McCree is the one in the cowboy hat, and Zenyatta is on the end.

[Varric's eyes stopped on Winston. The rest of the group, that seemed fine. He even agreed with Mercy's conclusion that he would get along with Reinhardt -- he seemed a good man, and definitely the type that could hold his drink.]

[But Winston stood out. Stuck out, really.]

Doc, I don't know if you've noticed this, but... One of your friends is an animal.

A gorilla, yes. He's also a brilliant scientist. He was born in an experimental colony. The training and research he's done is excellent.

[Look, it's less weird to have a talking gorilla than it is to have a purple spider lady.]
