WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. [Silver has plenty of his own coins to throw at the machine, and... There Watanuki is, with something that looks kind of like a-]

Is that the pipe fox?

[It's so much cuter than he imagined, holy shit.]

[OH HI SILVER enjoy a pipefox jumping over to wrap around your arm.]

Yeah, that's Mugetsu. And that's the fastest i've ever seen him take to someone other than me, too.

[feistytrader]

[Silver holds his arm pretty still for Mugetsu and offers his hand for him to smell; he looks friendly enough, but it's better not to rush these things and potentially get bitten.]

It's nice to meet you, Mugetsu.

[Because sure, let's just talk directly to the cute thing that looks like a mix between an Ekans and a Ninetales. Weavile looks a little jealous, then decides that this is the perfect time to cozy up to Watanuki. It all balances out!]

Was he in the machine too? Should we get him something to eat?

[foundfate]

[Talking to him seems like a good choice, because he seems intelligent enough to understand what Silver is saying. He sniffs at Silver's hand, then crawls up onto it and up Silver's arm to make a nest in his hair.]

He's a spirit, so- Gah!

[Hi there Weavile. Watanuki adjusts to suddenly a pokemon quickly, though.]

So I don't think he has to eat to survive. But he does like food.

[feistytrader]

We should go make something, then.

[...This is partially to get something for Mugetsu, and partially just to get some more of Watanuki's good food. Either way, the pipe fox is more than welcome on top of his head.]

I suppose he's overdue for some of my cooking. Are you two hungry too?

[He means Silver and Weavile when he asks there.]

[feistytrader]

Whatever you're making, we're interested.

[Weavile in particular is lighting up and dashing off to the damn kitchen.]

[foundfate]

Well then, I guess that answers that.

[To the kitchen they go! But it's going to be a meat-heavy dish today, since Mugetsu is a fox and all. Gotta eat that meat.]

You don't mind him being there in your hair like that?

[feistytrader]

[This is fine. Meat is delicious, and it's not like the creatures that went into the meat are going to suddenly undie.]

Not at all. Honchkrow likes to sit on my head all the time. It feels a little more like home.

[...Man, he misses the rest of his Pokémon. They better be okay...]

[foundfate]

Ah- maybe that's why he seems to like you. He must be able to smell your pokemon on you, so he knows you're a kind person.

[feistytrader]

[...Who says he's a kind person, huh. Come on, Watanuki, he has to look tough here.]

Well- [And he... Tries to look up at the pipe fox on his head, which doesn't work out very well, but-] you're welcome to stay for as long as you'd like.

[Especially while Watanuki makes them good food. Oh man.]

[Tough exterior. Soft, cuddly interior. Watanuki understands that type of person it's ok.

And tbh Mugetsu will probably chill there until he's kicked out or until food is ready, because food trumps all.]

That's very nice of you, you know. Hopefully Weavile doesn't get too jealous.

[TEASE TEASE but ok time for cooking. Is Silver just hanging out while Watanuki cooks?]

[feistytrader]

[...Weavile is still a little jealous, but it's hard to keep being jealous when he gets picked up and held.]

There. Now no one can get jealous.

[Simple solutions to complicated problems.]

[foundfate]

[Not so simple, when Mugetsu crawls out of Silver's hair to poke at Weavile. Hi small friend hiiii]

Such a simple solution, I wonder why I didn't think of it.

[feistytrader]

[Weavile is okay with this. It's a lot harder to be jealous when you're getting attention, after all.]

So what are you making?

[Because clearly we need to talk about The Important Things here.]

[foundfate]

Beef and vegetable tempura. I figured it would be easy enough for him to eat.

[He's making enough for all four of them, though.

[feistytrader]

And tasty enough.

[...Well, there's no sense in getting in his damn way. He'll park himself right on, well, the floor, but a good distance away from Watanuki so he doesn't interrupt him.]

[foundfate]

[Silver wtf.]

You don't have to sit on the floor, you know. You can bring a chair over from the dining room.

[feistytrader]

I know.

[But he's comfy, and Weavile thinks he makes a great chair, so it's fine.]

[foundfate]

[Ugh he can't fight with Silver, especially not over something as silly as this.]

Fine. Just don't get stepped on down there!

[A pause.]

Because Mugetsu is with you and he would get stepped on too. I-it's not because you might get hurt or anything!

[Wow it's been a while since he's been like that.]

[feistytrader]

I'll protect Mugetsu with my life.

[...Is it absolutely impossible to tell if he's being ridiculous or serious. Oops.]

[foundfate]

[Silver plz.]

W-well don't go getting yourself hurt in the process!

[feistytrader]

No danger is too great. I'll persevere.

[...It's weird using that word when it's his title now...]

Oh yeah, Mugetsu.

[There's something he should probably ask him.]

Is it okay to touch your tail? ...I mean, I guess your whole body is kind of your tail, but...

[foundfate]

[Mugetsu will stop poking at Weavile long enough to give a nod, but he will also wrap his tail around one of Silver's fingers (if Silver allows it) and squeeze it gently, as if to say 'don't be rough'.]

Why his tail specifically?

[feistytrader]

[Silver doesn't mind at all! ...He wasn't planning on touching his tail in the first place, really, it's just that-]

A Ninetales can put a really bad curse on you if you touch any of its tails. This guy's a lot different, but he reminds me of one, so I just wanted to be sure.
