WEEK 4.
Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20 |

[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

[ He'll smile in a coyish manner, but its probably more to himself than to Killia since the other man is probably too preoccupied with his routine to notice. ]
Jokes aside, yes, everything is quite fine. I had been waiting to meet Kogitsunemaru for quite awhile and it was nice to remember it happening.
So I guess you could consider it quite the 'good memory'.

He's another sword, right? Do you guys fight each other? [ He means spar, but demons don't really use proper terminology as far as that's concerned.]
no subject
[ And he finds it quite endearing. ]
... Well, no, I didn't fight with Kogitsunemaru much. We got along pretty well.
[ Of course he misunderstands it. ]
no subject
[ Well maybe he understands because he tries not to make it a habit of kicking Red Magnus' butt every day.]
no subject
[ Or does he...!!
It's always hit or miss with Mikazuki tbh. ]
I haven't had the chance to spar against Kogitsunemaru yet, as far as I can remember, but I've done it with a few of my other companions.
no subject
Do you want to fight with me sometime? [ He is just assuming Mika knows hand-to-hand.]
no subject
If it doesn't he could ask for a lesson in hand to hand. ]
Oh, of course. What will we be fighting with?
no subject
no subject
How about you teach me some pointers? I'm always glad to learn something new from you.
[ It's the truth... ]

[...]
Did you want to start now?
no subject
[ Mikazuki seems just as relaxed as ever, though. ]
Just let me know how things will go, and I will follow.
no subject
Those are the basics, but it's better if we practice against each other than a stationary target. Whoever lands five unblocked hits wins.
You ready? [ Killia doesn't have a particularly ornate combat stance but he does have one, his wings moving behind him.]
no subject
Alright, I'm ready. Come at me.
[ Mikazuki sort of enters into a battle stance that is common for him, or at least close to it. It'll feel more natural if he had his blade with him. ]

It's been a while since he's fought, but Killia is still deceptively fast, favoring bursts of attacks to biding his time. So he doesn't hesitate at all in going in for a flurry of strikes, hoping to land at least one. It leaves him pretty open when it's said and done, but he's always been more about offense than defense.]
no subject
He'll try to block as much as he can with his arms since he doesn't quite have the time to move in the dodging sense-- ]
...
[ He's unable to intercept a strike that hits him in his right shoulder, and there's a moment where the surprise of being hit throws him seemingly off-balance. Of course, Mikazuki is going to try for a trap and just hopes Killia tries to take the bait. ]

So they totally do hit the ground, though he does try to use his wings out of instinct, even though it doesn't do anything.]
...does this mean we both lose?
no subject
Yes, I suppose so. It was rather fun, though!
no subject
into a scarfotherwise they might have needed someones help.]Ah yeah, I didn't think you'd do something like that. It was fun though. [ But from the sound of it he doesn't really mind either. He takes a moment and then stands up, offering the swordspirit a hand without really thinking of it, to help him stand up.]
no subject
Mikazuki is blessed Killia is so sweet. ]
It may not look like it, but I am quite a fan of surprises. I'm glad you enjoyed as well, it has been quite awhile since I've had the chance to let loose...
[ He'll take the hand carefully, so he could be helped to stand on his feet. He doesn't let go afterwards, though. ]

[...]
He finds it strange that he doesn't mind, but he doesn't linger on the thought. He doesn't let go of his hand either.]
Do you want to get food? I'll cook something for us.
no subject
Yes, I would very much like to. I think all this fighting has made me quite hungry.
[ Mikazuki is pretty glad that the other man has not protested this (the elongated hand-holding) at all in the slightest. ]
no subject
Off to the kitchen!]
