WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 23 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 22 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20

[She's just as tickled that it came to her! She'll definitely be petting him some.]

I suppose I would be surprised as well. Though given those Pokemon are coming out of this, it's not terribly unexpected.

They came in those red and white balls, didn't they? Mugetsu wasn't in one.

Was he just freely in the machine, then? How... how did he manage?

Well he's a spirit, so it's not like he has to eat or breathe or anything.

[He LIKES to eat, but he doesn't have to.]

Even so, being stuck in an enclosed space like that... I don't think even a spirit would like that.

[Mugetsu shakes his head. Nope, he didn't like that at all.]

Well, he's here now at least.

[Watanuki pauses thoughtfully.]

...that wouldn't make him a student too, would it?

[firstaid]

If that were the case, then the Pokemon here would also be students, and I don't believe they are.

[foundfate]

Oh yeah, good point.

[GOOD Mugetsu is safe from murders and such. Watanuki looks relieved now.]

[firstaid]

[She'll pet the spirit again.]

Yes, I see no reason to believe he'll be harmed. Besides, who would want to hurt him anyway?

[foundfate]

[Good he loves attention, and will gladly make happy little squeaks at that.]

You never know, it's written in the rules that we can get ki- er, hurt here.

well, it is. Still, there's no gain from killing him, I would be lead to believe. It would be like destroying an item one got from that contraption. There's no reason.

[foundfate]

[Mugetsu looks positively annoyed at being called 'an item'.]

Though now that makes me worry about what will happen to him if I- if we don't manage to get out of here.

[If Watanuki dies, someone else can take care of Mugetsu. If everyone dies, does the Wordsmith get him?]

[Well, she didn't want to call him an 'item', but she thinks it's the rules those gotten from the contraption would play by.]

Though, I would rather not worry for the worst. For now, we should work on attempting to leave.

[foundfate]

Yeah, you're right. Worrying about that won't help with trying to find a way out.

[But he still worries. A lot.]

[firstaid]

It won't. So let's work together to find a way!

[She holds her hand out.]

[foundfate]

Right!

[He'll take that hand and pull himself up. FRIENDSHIP: OBTAINED!]

So let's do what we can. It's hard, but I know if we keep believing we can make it!

[She wants to remain positive. She has to.]
