Trustfell 4: Trust Fall or Die Hard ([personal profile] trustwellness) wrote in [community profile] trusthell2017-02-12 11:44 am

WEEK 4.

WEEK 4

Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira.

It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with.

Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices.

[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
officerhops: (and learn the golden rule)

Oh. Sorry.

[She smiles weakly at the Masquerain, rubbing her cheek with a paw.]

What, uh...can he usually do?
acherontiastyx: when i should have hip-hop (what's wrong with a little destruction?)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-13 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
[Masquerain looks away in a manner that, were he an anime girl and not some kinda very large bug, would be accompanied with something like "baka."]

Well, usually he can whip up razor sharp wind gusts, breathe ice, spit water, or buzz at a frequency that makes it combat-applicable. But I guess here he's just limited to ramming his face into things.
officerhops: (I always get up now to see what's next)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-13 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, wow.

[She means that. Wow.]

Why do you think he can't do any of that anymore? That can't just...stop, can it?

[Did he forget how?]
acherontiastyx: thrifty megamart doesn't have the same ring. (well who gives a damn)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-13 04:08 am (UTC)(link)
Well... I know people were talking about not being able to use powers they have back home, so that might be what's going on here? I don't have any special superpowers, but like... Pokemon can. I know Silver was talking about his Weavile not being able to use any moves, too.

I just hope the Wordsmith didn't do something permanent to 'em.

[He punches the punching bag again for good measure.]
officerhops: (oh oh oh oh oh)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-13 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
That almost seems too cruel, even for him. I guess he didn't want you to have something you could use as an advantage against him if you decided you wanted to.

[Or...an advantage against killing people, as the Wordsmith would probably think.]

He's okay otherwise, I guess?
acherontiastyx: nothing on the masked royal though. (those abs are nice bro.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-14 01:45 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, probably. I mean, I know if they were at full strength they could probably break straight through walls, so. Probably wouldn't be too hard to get to him.

[he hasn't thought about what would happen if you had your Pokemon kill someone and he doesn't want to.]

...but yeah. I haven't noticed any problems outside of that. Still the same guy.
officerhops: (oh oh oh oh oh)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-14 03:55 am (UTC)(link)
[Y i k e s]

I can see where that might be an issue, yeah...I'm glad you have him though, at least. How many Pokemon does that mean you're still missing?
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-14 12:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Four, I think. I mean, unless I caught a new one and straight up don't remember it. That would not surprise me.
officerhops: (I always get up now to see what's next)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-14 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[Judy tilts her head a little, glancing back up at Masquerain.]

You...catch them?
acherontiastyx: nothing on the masked royal though. (those abs are nice bro.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-15 01:08 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. We've got these things called Pokeballs, see?

[He pulls Masquerain's Ultra Ball out of his pocket.]

When you're wandering around in tall grass or something, they'll jump out at you to fight you and your Pokemon, if you've got one. If you've got a Pokeball, you can try tossin' it at the Pokemon and see if it'll stay in. If it does, well, you've got a new Pokemon.
officerhops: (no I won't give in)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-15 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
Wow...I knew they lived in those, but I didn't know you had to catch them, too.

[It's so bizarre.]

So is it like...magic, then?
acherontiastyx: nothing on the masked royal though. (those abs are nice bro.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-16 01:31 am (UTC)(link)
Well, yeah. I guess you can breed 'em or something, but it's a lot easier to go out and catch 'em if you don't have the Pokemon you want already.

...

It's sufficiently advanced technology combined with Pokemon being really freakin' weird.
officerhops: (I always get up now to see what's next)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-16 10:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Makes enough sense, I suppose. I just ask because a...shocking amount of worlds that the others are from actually have magic. And it's a real, non-imaginary thing.
acherontiastyx: nothing on the masked royal though. (those abs are nice bro.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-18 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
...I mean, some Pokemon are kinda like that, so it doesn't exactly leave me super shocked or anything. There's a lot of stuff I'll by in terms of it being actually possible, you know?
officerhops: (they fall down and get up)

[personal profile] officerhops 2017-02-19 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
At this point, there isn't much I can't afford to buy, but I see what you mean.

[She nods to the punching bag that Guzma had been wailing on prior to their conversation.]

How's that helping you, by the way? I might want to try it myself.
acherontiastyx: i mean the wormhole, shinji (:getin:)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-26 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, yeah, it's great. I mean, I always like beating up on something when I'm mad, but it... helps when it's something you're intended to punch and not something that'll break.
