Trustfell 4: Trust Fall or Die Hard ([personal profile] trustwellness) wrote in [community profile] trusthell2017-02-12 11:44 am

WEEK 4.

WEEK 4

Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira.

It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with.

Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices.

[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

[...Oh. The big orange lady is complimenting him.]

Thanks.

[He'll swim on over to greet her! ...Weavile will also swim on over to greet her so he can chill out for a while.]

...Do you know how to swim?

[...Do cool weird alien girls even need to swim? That's probably the better question.]
iaspis: (◇ guilty by association)

....No.

[She motions to the pool, watching the water for a moment.]

If I entered the pool, I would sink. Gem bodies aren't composed of water.

Really? You'd sink like a...

[Rock, uh. Nevermind.]

Maybe we can find a way to make you float.

[Is there anything here that does float? Uh... Maybe if they took some of the plastic bags from the kitchen, blew them up, and taped them all together, they could make some kind of weird raft. Or maybe some of the wood in the workshop is light enough...]

If you'd be interested.
iaspis: (◇ the lessons that you taught me)

I don't know if it's possible or not, I've never tried it before.

Does this place have anything that would work?
feistytrader: (I'm okay with this)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-02-14 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
...In theory, you should be able to learn anyway. It just might take more physical exertion.

[On the other hand-]

Wait here. I'll be right back.

[He leaps out of the pool, grabs a quick towel, and heads back upstairs! ...It takes him a little while to show up again, but when he does, it's absolutely with an obscenely jury rigged... something; it looks vaguely like a pool noodle, with quart sized bags mostly filled, then duct taped shut for extra measure and rolled up, then finally, the whole thing questionably taped together.]

Here. Try holding onto this.

[It... Should work, maybe, but it's definitely not something that's going to last for more than an hour or two, tops.]
iaspis: (✧ what i thought was never real)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-15 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
[It does indeed look questionably taped together, but if there's one thing Jasper has learned here, it's that she's not about to turn down an opportunity to do something new.

This would absolutely not do in the order of the Diamonds, but what the Diamonds don't know doesn't matter, does it?

She jumps in the pool, and... thankfully she is still gigantic, so her head is well above water, she just. Looks like she doesn't know what to do for a moment before she tries to grab on to the homemade pool noodle, pressing her upper body weight into it carefully so she doesn't accidentally break the poor thing.

It's not as dramatic as it would be if she was just a regular giant woman instead of a space-rock alien giant woman, but it does look like the flotation device does work, sort of. At the very least, her feet are a couple of inches off the ground.]

Huh. This is unusual.

[But she's clearly excited about it, or as excited as someone as serious as Jasper can be about it, anyway.]
feistytrader: (thanks for the scarf)

[personal profile] feistytrader 2017-02-15 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
[Oh holy shit, it actually worked. He eagerly hops back into the pool.]

Try kicking your feet. It's less about kicking hard, and more about pushing yourself up.

[He'll even hold onto the edge of the pool and demonstrate!]
iaspis: (✧ i was confused)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-16 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
I see.

[Like usual, she doesn't. But she follows his instructions anyway. It's pretty obvious that what her body really wants to do is sink to the bottom, but she kicks her feet, trying to keep herself afloat, smirking.]
