WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Someone asked this last time, but is anyone regularly writing or talking to Wordsmith? Anything you wanna tell us this time? Because he told me something I'm still not sure I get about Angela's death the other day.

Apparently, while that one blonde girl just fell asleep and broke Rule Three, apparently Angela was aware long enough to fight against the shadow thing as well. And it sounds like he's considering making that a rule.

[ But she didn't see that? She thinks... or at least not enough to single it out. ]

Maybe she wasn't in a deep sleep? Or maybe she woke up?

[Yeah that's something he's going to ask about when he gets the chance.]

...She dozed, it sounds like, and awoke...to try to fight off Kage- ...to fight off the creature.

The Wordsmith told me...it has had many names, but he didn't want to disclose them. However...I could give it a name. For...convenience's sake. [that's not all to it but-] I chose Kageshirou.

We can't keep saying "that thing" or "that creature" all the time.

Yes, that's...what I thought. ...If it's too difficult, Kage or Kageshi carry the same meaning, mostly.

...He told me he wasn't sure if it was necessary or not. It's something he's taken into consideration. He said the closest it was, was to Rule Five.

I've...been speaking to him regularly, but I don't know if there's anything to report. It's mostly been frivolous. I did hear the same as you though, regarding...Angela's death.

I mean...things unrelated to our escape. Mostly, I've been asking him questions that are- well, curiosities to me, or...about the way he views the world.

If...we're stuck here, there's nothing wrong with trying to learn more about our captor. Didn't we all agree on that the first day?
