Trustfell 4: Trust Fall or Die Hard ([personal profile] trustwellness) wrote in [community profile] trusthell2017-02-12 11:44 am

WEEK 4.

WEEK 4

Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira.

It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with.

Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices.

[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!

If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]
acherontiastyx: that's great. (well.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-15 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
...Okay, that kind of makes sense, since we haven't been able to get in the gym before. But... yo. There's something real messed up with the kitchen, my friends.

I mean, there's pretty small vents in there, too, like Killia's talking about. You know how we've been using it for this long, right? I inspected the crap out of the kitchen and everything looked brand new. Like, right outta the box. No stains, no chips, no nothing. The knives don't have any wear or anything. Brand freakin' new.

I actually took a plate and carved... uh...

[he draws a Team Skull logo on a spare sheet of paper.]

...this on it, right? So I put it behind some oatmeal because I figured nobody was gonna go for it, but this morning when I checked to see if it was still there, it wasn't. I didn't find it in the rest of the plates, either. It's just totally gone. Nobody took it, right? I'm kinda doubting it, but if anyone's seen it, this is gonna be slightly less creepy, I guess.
plentyfriendly: (phi$ df periphery)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-02-15 01:44 am (UTC)(link)
Was the plate itself removed? I donno if anyone's been keeping track of that.

[She's in a mood that's not great and trying her best to get through it anyway.]
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-15 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
I probably should've counted how many plates there were, but... it's just gone. Like someone hit a reset button on the kitchen or something.
plentyfriendly: (phi$ recur)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-02-15 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
Considering you said everything was near mint condition, that's probably not a bad analogy.
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-16 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
...so like, is the reason we can't go in the kitchen because it literally remakes itself every night.
plentyfriendly: (phi$ fuser unknown)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-02-16 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
It's a possiblity, but I don't know how the Wordsmith would manage something like that.

[What else would explain it, though?]
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-16 10:59 pm (UTC)(link)
...I mean, he's done a lot of things so far that I'm not sure how he's managed, so. Not too out of the ordinary for him.
plentyfriendly: (phi$ catch)

[personal profile] plentyfriendly 2017-02-17 01:36 am (UTC)(link)
True.

[Then there's, you know. Most of us.]
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-20 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
He also just said something about weird time garbage for the motive, so who who knows. Maybe it's the reset button.

iaspis: (◇ no more lies)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-15 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
That's certainly odd.

Do you suppose that.... shadow creature saw it, and somehow was able to replace the plate? It sounds like a lot of work just to keep things pristine.
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-15 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah... man, I don't know. Maybe it replaces all the plates every night. Like... I'm kind of tempted to leave dirty dishes in the sink overnight just to see what happens.
iaspis: (◇ guilty by association)

[personal profile] iaspis 2017-02-16 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe that's how we should do it. See if something dramatic happens.

The kitchen must close at night for a reason.
acherontiastyx: hell yeah. (right in the trash.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-16 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Nobody wash the dishes tonight. For science.
tsugomori: (☾ consideration)

[personal profile] tsugomori 2017-02-15 01:48 am (UTC)(link)
[ Is this the new ventgate? How curious...but that aside he'll pay close attention when he mentions the things that are brand new. ]

That is quite strange. But, no, I don't remember seeing a plate with that logo anywhere.

I'm guessing that something probably did take it though, just not us if no one ends up saying they did.
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-15 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
I guess either the shadow monster or the Wordsmith must have it now, if there's not... just some kind of reset button were everything's suddenly brand new again.
tsugomori: (☾ ?)

[personal profile] tsugomori 2017-02-15 05:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. Hopefully there is not some unorthodox usage of a time loop going on here. It would be very difficult to make sense of... probably.
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-16 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
Listen, I told y'all about time travel and weird time garbage. It's not worth it.
tsugomori: (☾ joyful)

[personal profile] tsugomori 2017-02-17 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm, yes, messing around with time itself isn't at all...

[ He'll smile a little at that, at the very least, seeming a tad bit pleased to hear it. ]
acherontiastyx: and we've got no principles (too cool for trainer school)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-19 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
...I watched this movie once where like. A scientist went back in time, and when he went back to the future, he'd changed something so now bug Pokemon had taken over the world.
tsugomori: (☾ lunacy)

[personal profile] tsugomori 2017-02-20 12:03 am (UTC)(link)
... Why would he do something like that? It wasn't by accident, was it? It sounds like it would be very inconvenient.

[ ... And gross. Very gross. No thank you to bugs ruling the world!! ]
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-26 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
It was by complete accident. Apparently messing with the past can change the entire course of history even if you just kick over the wrong rock or something.

...

But I mean, it was a movie.

Maybe it's like how socks disappear in the dryer, except with plates and a dishwasher.
