WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 23 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 22 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20

Are all bugs that big where you're from? [ Masquerain doesn't seem to scare him at least, but he definitely thinks this is really fucking weird. ]

I mean, there are a few small ones. Cutiefly and Joltik are... about this big?

[He spreads his fingers about four inches apart.]

But those are kind of an outlier. They're usually bigger than your hand, at the very least.

That's still really big. Most bugs don't even come close to being bigger than your hand in my world. Some are so small you need a microscope to get a good look at them.

Yeah, that's what I heard and it sounds really weird to me. Like. How do they exist. What do they even eat.

[quadruples]

Nectar, leaves, blood, other bugs... [ A shrug. ] I think I have a few photos of butterflies on my phone if you want to see what they look like?

[acherontiastyx]

...actually, yeah. I'm pretty curious about this now.

[quadruples]

[ He whips out his phone and... give him a minute or two, he has so many photos on this thing. Eventually he finds what he's looking for and holds it up for Guzma to look at - it's a picture of a small yellow butterfly sitting on the back of Viktor's hand. ]

...huh.

[he leans in a little bit.]

Yeah, it's kind of like the butterflies we have back home, but a lot smaller. It kinda reminds me more of Beautifly than Butterfree, but it might just be the color.

Is Beautifly as beautiful as the name suggests?

[acherontiastyx]

...I mean, I guess. Dustox is a little more my aesthetic. You don't actually want to mess with a Beautifly, though, which is what I kinda like about it. They're actually a lot more aggressive than you'd think.

...I'm honestly having a hard time imagining an aggressive butterfly. How dangerous is it?

[acherontiastyx]

I mean, I wouldn't say it's the most dangerous Bug Pokemon, but you don't really wanna mess around with it. It's... like, intermediate, I guess.

Can it kill you if you piss it off?

[acherontiastyx]

...If you don't have any Pokemon and you really seem like a threat, probably.
