WEEK 4.
Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20 |

[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

[That is probably the best possible choice, seriously. She looks at the cover of Chavvot, the first page or two, and...]
I...recognize this title. Was it... Was it on the profiles somewhere?

[It's such a sweet story, too. He wishes he could ask her about it.]

Gold looks away at that, embarrassment burning his cheeks, and he'll play with the interview papers.]
... I don't get why it's important to her, [not a bit, she seemed to talk well enough even if she didn't say anything,] but I get it. Both Chavvot and her way of speakin' and Jimmy's feelings.

[It's priceless. It's also embarrassing.]
Everyone needs someone like that in their life, I think. That's all.

[she takes no prisoners this week]

Course! They're, you know, my pals. And I'm the same way for them.
[... more so with silver than crys on both accounts because things are Tricky with her and she tends to be the best at communicating with her words over actions, but it isn't by much. he loves his friends, they are the ones that understand him past his attitude and the ones he gives all of himself to as a result.]
They're my partners, and that's a real honor for 'em.

[It's said gently, a soft Aesop of some kind.]
Spend as much treasured time with them as you can.

Yeah, no problem. It's what I'm plannin' on doin' anyway, 'cause they can't get rid of me at this point.

[She...well, not quite smiles, but something pulls at her lips.]
What else, aah...do you have there? Any other fortuitous pulls?
[...because we still haven't talked about that interview and OH BOY]

pretty hesitant to push it to her
but he will, scowling.]
It's, uh, about Alani's world. Pretty much everyone but her died 'cause of some bastards.
[...]
It's probably why she did what she did. Readin' it, I can't help but feel real pissed, even if I...
[can't regret being alive right now, even if it meant she died.]

Well, Hanyuu pushes it back to Gold before she crumples or rips the paper in her hands.]
...Society can be cruel, no matter the world. [Tight-lipped, she...sighs and closes her eyes for a moment, trying to get something straight in her head, but that doesn't last long.] I've no doubt...this is what she wanted to undo.
She...told me...something happened, but she didn't remember what, that Sunday. Just that she was in the galactic war, and someone expressed condolences.
no subject
[Damn, does that suck. He'll fold it up carefully.]
... Wish I could've helped.

[A different fragment. If she could use her powers for someone else- but would they even...?]
I've been praying for her. I hope...she can hear me, wherever she is.
