Trustfell 4: Trust Fall or Die Hard ([personal profile] trustwellness) wrote in [community profile] trusthell2017-02-12 11:44 am

WEEK 4.

WEEK 4

Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira.

It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week?

Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost...

Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with.

Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices.

[She shakes her head.]

Nothing like that. He just made the pasta for the dogs. Nothing else was written about him.
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-16 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
Huh.

...

I bet he had an accordion. He had to have.
firstaid: (Clueless)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-02-16 02:01 am (UTC)(link)
Why is the accordion so important?

[She is a little confused here.]
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-16 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Because how else is he going to sing to the dogs while they eat? I mean, I guess he could have a different instrument, but I don't know. The accordion seems pretty iconic.
firstaid: (think; princess; ponder)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-02-17 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
In the book he doesn't sing to them at all. As I mentioned, he just gives them pasta and leaves them be.
acherontiastyx: when i should have hip-hop (what's wrong with a little destruction?)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-19 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
...Well that's got a lot less whimsy, although man, do songs in books ever feel weird. So I guess it makes more sense to be in a kids movie than a book.
firstaid: (smile; adoring; appreciative)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-02-19 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose it would. A play would be a place to have songs. Sometimes they have purpose in books, but usually it's for plot or a character trait. Not just to 'enhance a scene'. It wouldn't make sense.
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-26 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know, I tried to read this one book series a while ago where people would just burst into song and it had an actual point maybe once.
firstaid: (Books!)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-02-26 03:52 am (UTC)(link)
Well, if they felt compelled to sing for any particular plot reason, I suppose that would make sense. However, without hearing it, it would be difficult to convey music.
acherontiastyx: yeah. (oh.)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-27 12:11 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, no, they just sang all the freaking time. I think the guy just liked writing poetry but wanted to write a novel, too.
firstaid: (hmm?)

[personal profile] firstaid 2017-02-27 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
I suppose in poetry form that would make sense. If played to music, it would be a song.

[Still, it's hard to imagine a song in a book without knowing what it sounds like unless it's a popular nursery rhyme.]
acherontiastyx: that angry teen boy vibe (something something tried so hard)

[personal profile] acherontiastyx 2017-02-27 03:27 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, I guess. I dunno, I just kind of wanted to get to the fights, personally. ...and even then, you'd still have to wade through a bunch of useless genealogy crap.
