WEEK 4.

WEEK 4 Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 23 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 22 APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20

The man has us feed people to his Kageshirou thing, he puts up lady's weights, and he incentivizes murder. Plus he writes letters with poor format! Who could consider him tactful.

[firstaid]

Well, no, but I wouldn't think he would go this far. I would like to ask why he is doing this, however, I know if asked, he won't give a straightforward answer.

[matchbreaker]

[ Elda hold up a scolding finger and addresses the room as a whole with this, because she's actually not sure: ]

Wait a minute! If he doesn't know this is happening, telling him wouldn't be good.

[firstaid]

[She cants her head.]

But if the Wordsmith wrote it, wouldn't that mean he knows about it?

[matchbreaker]

But if Chiyuki actually wrote it, he might not.

[ In an overly loud whisper ]

[firstaid]

[She furrows her eyebrows...]

...but she died. How could she write it?

[Talking via letters to the dead sounds like something out of a book.]

[matchbreaker]

[ Wow. ]

That's why we're having this meeting.

[Sorry, not logical things are something she's a bit slow with.]

So do people really think she wrote it?

Elda is going to run her hairs through her hair and try to stomp off, looking frustrated. Someone else handle this!! Maybe!! or just stop her ]

Can they really? I just thought that was a myth in books.

You've seen a lot here that's supposed to just be fiction, haven't you? Different worlds, different dimensions, different rules.

[firstaid]

That is true, however, even communication from the dead to the living sounds too far fetched... I mean, I want to believe it...

[oyashiromama]

The dead...oftentimes they very desperately want to reach the living. Trust me. If they've found a way, they'll use it.

[firstaid]

So you really think this is a case of Chiyuki reaching us?

[It really sounds all so fantastical. But it's not bad... it could be a very good sign and she desperately wants to believe in it.]

Yes. [...] At the very least...I hope so much that it is.

[firstaid]

I... hope she's at peace. Though if she is reaching is, I wonder if she's trying to find a way to communicate if she knows something.
