Trustfell 4: Trust Fall or Die Hard (

WEEK 4.
Three more have died this past week. Milla Maxwell was killed for breaking a rule, Chiyuki was murdered, and you all had a hand in executing Yoshikage Kira. It seems like this isn't going to stop any time soon. How many more will join them this week? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Despite the Wordsmith's reaction to the last trial, it seems as though you've been rewarded once again for a job that was...well, it was done, even if he didn't explicitly say it was well-done. Another door has opened in that stairway, it seems, leading you further down into the building; once again, there are more rooms down there, more things to occupy yourselves with. Or perhaps just more means to get creative with regards to how you take initiative with your fellow Apprentices. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 20 |

[OOC: Welcome to week four of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

SHADOWFRIEND I AM HERE
Hanyuu's doing...okay? Alright, comparatively okay. She's not completely awful, she's just so tired. So very tired and it shows all over her face. She has an arranged meeting with Elda tonight, for one of those games which will hopefully get her mind off everything, but for now... Well, she gets up late and idles around the dojo, quietly wishing she had something to practice with, but she won't stay there long. No, she heads to the pool, to actually swim, though it mostly looks like she's meditating again.
Alani's prayers were supposed to be done in water, right?
After, hair damp, she goes to the vending machine to cash in a few more coins. She gets a nice haul, taking note at first of the...strange tank-top, oh. Would it suit her? ...Doesn't she know this logo, it's-]
...Oh...!
[She gets distracted. Hanyuu...recognizes the deck of cards that comes out of the vending machine. It's old, it's beaten, most of the cards are scuffed and folded and she holds it lovingly, running a finger down one of the fold-marks of a card.
She'll get her things to her room and then... Then she'll stop in the foyer to talk with the shadowfriend, with a piece of paper with YES and NO written on it. Seems that's a good way to get at least a conversation in, so...
She sits, a little ways away from the crack in the wall, paper in front of her.]
Hello? May...may we talk?
no subject
Eventually, however, one of those dark tendrils will split off and spread out a bit in the direction of the sheets of paper she's got in front of her.
YES.]

I...know many have already spoken with you...but I am Hanyuu. I've- ...I didn't want to simply call you a creature, so the Wordsmith said... He said you wouldn't mind a name. Kageshirou. Do you have any objections to this? I can...choose a new one.
no subject
...Apparently no objections here. Kageshirou it is.]

I'm glad. ...Now... Have you always lived here? In these walls?

Oh snap, I should've guessed one of those would be in there! Lucky you, you don't even have to pay for it!

G-Guzma...! It's your symbol, of course! This- this is yours? [...It looks more like it'd fit her actually but she starts to hand it out to him]
no subject
[...well. sell. because team skull has no money.]

O-oh...! So this is what the rest of your association wears. ...I-I don't think I've asked...what you do?

Pool
...Well, she'll just change first and then go swim in to join Hanyuu. It certainly looks like she's concentrating hard...
...and hopefully she's can hear her at least somewhat when she speaks--]
Enjoying yourself, Ms. Furude? You seem quite focused.
no subject
O-oh...! L-Lusamine! [Eyes open, hair billowing behind her, she looks up. She hadn't heard anyone enter, not at all.] I-I'm sorry, have you- been here long?
no subject
Are you enjoying yourself, at least?
no subject
[She promised, after all.]
no subject
You really are a goddess of your word. I'm sure she would appreciate that very much...
Oh, did I interrupt? [That hits her after a few more seconds.] Forgive me. I can stay to one side until you are finished.
no subject
It's alright, the prayer was...complete, I was just reflecting on it. Not many of the writings Alani left are things others can do, not unless I grow gills and learn to glow.
[...is she making a joke? has the week been bad enough that she's just said fuck it and made a joke? maybe, it doesn't quite land but maybe.]
oh god i think i lost this at some point
Well, I'm certain that she would be complimented that you were doing as well as you could, within your means. Don't you think that counts for something?
no worries bro!
...That's my hope. For...it to do her some justice... [She sighs gently.] I- I apologize, I've intruded on your swimming time, haven't I?
