WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. There once was a man named Sisyphus who thought he could outsmart the gods, and in punishment, he was cursed to roll a boulder up a hill. Every time he reached the top, it would roll back to the bottom, and he would have to start again. He was cursed to never achieve the goal he had to accomplish to atone, so in that sense, he can never atone. It is his struggle, for eternity.

He reaches up to his shoulders, covering Silver's hands with his own, squeezing them tightly. He glances down, unable to meet Silver's eyes for a moment.]

I'm supposed to be worrying about the people I don't know that well- what they'll do, if they'll take the bait or not, if I can get to them before the Wordsmith does- but somehow I keep worrying about you the most.

[Because he made a promise, to keep Silver safe. And failing in that is one of the worst things that could happen here.]

[Mostly because Watanuki tried not to talk dreams with most people. Just Silver, Hanyuu, and...well, Varric, but he's not around anymore so. He knows that asking about dreams will mean people will ask him about his dreams, and they're not exactly easy to talk about.]

Ch-rom, not Ch-rome. Not that I really care what you call him. He's the younger brother of Emmeryn; one of the Ylissean royal family. He's the only prince and heir to the throne now that his big sister's dead.

I'm pretty sure he's straight up ignoring all my calls and letters. Like, I didn't even get an answer when I asked an actual question instead of just sending him beautiful works of art.

Not particularly. It'll take a long time before you're as proficient as me, but with enough practice you should be able to handle it.

These swords can't cut anything and they're not particularly useful for anything, but they at least serve for training purposes!
