WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. [he had almost forgotten what trees even looked like he's about to cry.

obviously, Sportacus is going to be spending the majority of his day in the greenhouse. he's climbing the trees like a child, hanging out on the upper boughs of the tree and eating the fruit from them. he's sitting among the flowers, humming tunelessly and periodically waving a hand over them. nothing happens, but he doesn't seem to expect it to. he's just fucking chilling in general it's a great goddamn day.]

[ She sees Sportacus climbing that tree and... holy shit, she has to get in on that. She picks the tree closest to her buddy and climbs up into it. She's a good climber! ]

It's hard to be in a bad mood when you're in somewhere so beautiful! I would sleep in here if it wouldn't kill me!

[pets the tree!] I don't see how they're doing so well without sunlight... I have never seen anything like it.

[Well, he just happened to be wandering around when he notices Elda's door is open and... oh hey, is that the nail painting stuff she mentioned? He'll knock on the door and wait in the doorway, just to let her know he's here.]

That's the stuff you mentioned, isn't it?

[ Oh - Oh right, she laughs, shaking her head. ]

I'd promised both you and White I'd touch you up, didn't I? I forgot.

[ But she motions him in. She's sitting on top of a ... coffin? That's sure a home made coffin made out of wood, nails, duct tape, and bits of her smashed apart bed. She broke the legs out from under it weeks ago and partially repurposed the mattress. ]

Well, that's... certainly a dream alright. Gangrel doesn't wake with a start, but it looks like Mikazuki's still having issues (which is understandable, he guesses) so he waits for a few moments before sitting up and stretching, giving Mikazuki plenty of warning before he speaks up.]

I'd say "good morning" but it certainly isn't one. Are you okay?

There may be no crosses, but a church is a church. It can afford to endure my ire for one day.

[ Wordsmith will probably fix it, she knows. She ... actually laugh a little at the creativity thing, but punctuates her words with a swing of the warhammer into some candle set ]

Well, it looks like you've had fun with your room. Do you need to sleep in a coffin or is that just a preference?

[ She... She sets down the hammer, sighing ]

Sportacus, have you remembered more about your child?

Yeah. Like, what is this even doing here anyway? You're just doing some much needed redecoration.

Preference! Beds are so... soft. And in a world where there's actually sunlight, it's good to be in something at least a light light-tight.

[ She shakes her head though, waving a hand ]

[ You might've noticed her nails were done red after the Kira case, though it's faded/flaked some by now. ]

[ She throws the warhammer aside, to instead walk over towards a red paint bucket. ]

[Which is... kind of weird, honestly. We haven't been outside in so long...

Anyway, now that you mention it, he does remember seeing her nails!]

That's right, they did look nicely done. So this is that... polish?

[he brightens at the question, smiling.]

Yes! She forced me to take my first vacation in my life, and took over protecting the town as a real superhero! [clearly proud] She did a very good job, until the robot dog started attacking people!

She motions him inside this desecrated chapel, as she's drawing a few more skulls ]

Yes! I did them for her, so as to comfort her.

[ Or ... well, that's how she's putting it. Elda caps her bottle, and then blows on the nails she was just working on. She'd only finished the base coat, tbh, but given it was a touch up, it's not bad. She holds out the bottle for Gangrel, open palmed with the other hand ]

Huh? Oh, okay! Let's see... [thinks...]

There's another boy in town, Pixel-- he's very intelligent, always inventing new gadgets! He's very close to building a working rocket ship, I think... One time, he made a machine that turned things invisible! He was using it to slack off his chores. [grins, shakes head] I got turned invisible for a little while. It was kind of fun!
