WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. Congratulations and well done, even if you might not necessarily appreciate the reward. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 15

[ Mikazuki places a hand to lightly touch the side of the piano; his words aren't said lightly but there is no ridicule in them either. ]

Whatever the case, let's hope for the best to come, sometime soon.

I don't really like hope or faith or anything like that. I won't say I'm devoid of it, but I do know that-

[ How does she put this... ]

- We've some results from the meeting, we need to capitalize on them.

[ He'll just nod, anyway. ]

Well, either way, I've made sure to jot down some notes, just in case... I wouldn't want to forget anything.

[ Especially about the part with bunnies and time machines! ]

Honestly, I've scarcely thought to do so, but I've been so preoccupied with action to give any heed to contemplation.

[ She runs the mascot hand over the keys ] It's why I wrote those letters, both to the dead and to Wordsmith.

That's been a good idea. Everyone focusing on different things will ensure that we'll make more progress, I think...

[ Mikazuki then leans against the piano. ]

Maybe I will at least write a letter someday... although, probably to the dead, if I get a chance.

[matchbreaker]

I'll work out how we do that yet, worry not.

[ A beat ]

Although, we might well need to do more on our end.

You're pretty on top of that, so if you say so, then I trust you with that.

[ Mikazuki means it, and there is finally at least a smile on his part. ]

There is still finding where all those keys go to, and I suppose seeing to looking around a bit more.

[matchbreaker]

The keys, that box I discovered and the passcode for it, the implication that we stand where others once stood... not to mention contact with the Wordsmith or Kageshirou and their motivations.

[ she's counting these off on her fingers, not that he can see it under the arms of the mascot. And she taps on the piano keys a few times ]

I don't get any of it, I'm no detective.

Then there are the things that return to their natural state no matter what's been done to them in here, and the small notes on the book about using a time travel machine.

[ ... ]

Well, all of it should fall into place when we get more information anyway.
