WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. [He wouldn't be surprised if Mikazuki already figured out exactly why he was in here with a blank piece of paper and a pen, but he sighs like he's frustrated anyway.]

[ Mikazuki blinks a little, and well. ]

I've been thinking about it, but I don't think I even know where to start. Well, other than, "Dear Killia, how are you?" ... because past that I don't know.

... I suppose you're having the same problem, aren't you?

...Yes. I've never been any good at writing letters and I certainly don't know where to start now. What do you say to someone who died?

[You shouldn't be able to communicate with them at all, obviously, so of course he's at a loss here.]

[ Mikazuki gives a long pause... well, now that he thinks about it...he might need some paper now. ]

Maybe a good place to start would be to talk things are going, now that I think about it. That way there's not so much worrying going on. Maybe crack a joke too, that could be good.

Talk about things you've eaten, and maybe doodle a smiley at the end of it.

...Maybe that would work for someone else, but I doubt it'll explain why I'm writing a letter to Kimbley.

[Honestly, he's not sure why he's doing this. Kimbley wrote one to him and it was practical, but he doesn't have anything to offer Kimbley like that. Just pointless sentiment that he doesn't want to acknowledge anyway.]

... Hmm, maybe it wouldn't. Well, I don't think letters have to be long either...ah, would writing a puzzle on it sound like it'd work? I remember Kimbley doodled a labyrinth thing once, maybe he'd appreciate that sort of thing in a letter.

[ ... He really doesn't know, but he is going to try his best to help Gangrel, especially after he helped him so much...even if it's evident that he is not sure what would be proper exactly in a letter. ]

Oh, that might be a good idea! How did he say he made those again...?

[Hmm. Kimbley did talk about them...]

Well, I'll think on it, perhaps I'll remember later. Are you going to write something to K— anyone?

[Right, let's just avoid the awkward topic, um.]

Oh, I have no idea, he only told me how you'd make your way out of one.

Well, Gangrel may try to avoid the awkward topic, and maybe it seems like it'd be a good idea. But, he thinks they both know 'anyone' is 'Killia', even if there's a moment before he answers. ]

... It's alright, you can say his name. I've been thinking about writing something for him, yes. I don't know if I want to have it filled with things I've spoken about that could be put into a letter, or other things. All I know is that I do want to send him something at least.

Maybe you should practice writing a letter to him. Just write down whatever comes to mind and see how it sounds. Then write another and another, until you get something you're satisfied with.

Yes, you are right about that. Whether it's long or short...it's something that doesn't want to seem thoughtlessly written and well, maybe it is a matter of courage too.
