WEEK 6.
With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. Congratulations and well done, even if you might not necessarily appreciate the reward. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Well, it sounds like he was reaching. There's certainly no way it could be mistaken for anything like that. We may not be enemies but we certainly aren't friends and I'm not sure how anyone could mistake it for anything else.
[Right. That's definitely right.]
no subject
Exactly. I don't know what that boy was thinking, asking something like that. The fact that he has the audacity to do so is utterly infuriating. We're nothing like that. He's lucky I'm not over there right now, or he'd be grounded for the foreseeable future!
[This has just been stupid as hell. But...]
...Why do you not think of me as an enemy? I don't follow.
no subject
Comparing you to Emmeryn or Chrom or their father is an insult! I may not like you, but I don't want your head on a pike! The Wordsmith is the only person here who can come close! At least Chrom had the stones to face me, gyahahaha!
no subject
I suppose I can be thankful that I don't inspire the same feelings. Really, I don't know what those people have done, but they sound like they deserve what they'll get.
[...]
I don't...understand, however. If we're not enemies, then what on earth are we?
no subject
[He's kind of smirking, but the expression fades at the question. Gangrel hesitates for a moment, then shrugs.]
Good question. If I had an answer to that, I'd tell you. The closest I can think of is "allies against the Wordsmith" but I'm not sure that's exactly it.
[It's confusing and a bit concerning and trying to put a label on it is definitely more difficult than it should be.]
no subject
[Wouldn't that be everyone, if he described it like that? Unless someone here was actually working for the Wordsmith, but who would want to work with such a horrible person. Lusamine starts tapping on her arm with one of her fingers, clearly frustrated and confused.]
This is irritating. Utterly irritating--
no subject
[He used to find her annoying and agitating and terrible, but maybe now... Maybe she is closer to a friend. She's certainly not one - she can't be one - but maybe that's the closest word they have for whatever their strange relationship really is.]
no subject
[Don't call her out like this you craven jerk--
It's all she says, though, pausing after the second bit and resting her chin under one of her hands.]
I didn't think it would be this difficult to sum it up. I had wanted to tell Gold off for making such an asinine assumption, and do it properly. Then he wouldn't be so clearly confused.
[...]
I agree with you, however. I can't say that I would want it any other way.
no subject
[That's what he'd do, anyway! Because it'd be funny.]
...I wouldn't want it any other way either.
no subject
You're right. And here I let myself get worked up over something so trivial, when it's perfectly fine as it is...
[There's a little bit of chuckling at that.]
...Good. I'm happy to hear it. And I hope you can forgive me for waking you up for such a reason.
no subject
[He waves it off easily.]
Good to know you won't have that weighing on you any, though. It really is strange to see you so worked up, you know!
[Might as well be an asshole though, just to reset the status quo!]
no subject
So I happen to get confused every once in a while. What of it? It's not like you had an answer either, you wretched man.
no subject
no subject
[...she can't even come up with a retort to that. God, her face feels like it's starting to burn just a bit from rising anger. Goddammit--]
Keep this up, and I'll invest in some duct tape to forcibly shut that trap of yours.
no subject
[But he laughs and holds up his hands in surrender.]
You're safe for now, Lusamine! I won't tease you about it for the rest of this week, I promise!
[...IT'S THURSDAY YOU ASSHOLE]
no subject
There's only two more days left in this week.
[Said through gritted teeth. Why are you like this, Gangrel, god, it was a perfectly legitimate question--]
no subject
[YEP. THIS IS IT. THIS IS WHAT YOU'VE CHOSEN TO ALIGN YOURSELF WITH. AND BOY IS HE ENJOYING IT.]
no subject
Keep it up, dear. There's more than enough duct tape in the storage room to deal with you.
no subject
no subject
[This was certainly a conversation, jesus christ...]
...And stay safe, while you're at it.
[Considering what tomorrow is likely to bring...well, that's said more for her sake of mind than it is his, before she exits the room.]
no subject
You don't need to worry about me, Lusamine.
[But he holds up a hand to wave a lazy farewell.]
Next time you come calling do try to make it a bit later in the day, will you?
