WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. Yes, I suppose they have.

Honestly, I've... just been doing what I can to survive. I suppose that is selfish, however, I really don't know how to be useful here.

There's not really a problem with that. A lot of people would say something like "how can you take care of others if you don't take care of yourself"? I mean, it works for airline safety guidelines.

[firstaid]

I believe that is true, too. I've been trying to take care of myself to not worry others.

[Though.]

Airline safety?

[She cocks her head to the side.]

What is that?

Earth is pretty big, and most of it is ocean. One of the ways people get around having thousands of miles of water between wherever they are and where they're going is by riding in a machine that just flies over it.

It's completely sealed, though, since the air that high up is too thin to breathe for very long and it still takes a few hours.

You can really do that? I thought over water you had to use ships.

[She really has no memories of flying, unfortunately, or else it would make sense.]

That's also an option - it tends to just take longer.

Airplanes work by moving fast enough that air pushes up into the wings, lifting it off the ground - at least, that's the basics.

How intriguing. It's curious how it can carry people. I imagine it must be loud as a result.

[She's imagining the wings actually flapping, so...]

Anyway, some things can cause the inside of the plane to lose pressure, and in case that happens the ceiling of the plane is filled with oxygen masks that drop down. If you strap one to your face, you'd be able to breathe normally.

Oh wow! So they're prepared for any situation that may come. This airplane sounds rather interesting and I am quite amazed there's something like that.
