WEEK 6.
With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. Congratulations and well done, even if you might not necessarily appreciate the reward. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week six of Trustfell! Feel free to make as many top levels as you'd like and tag out to other characters! This post is for all of your interactions this week... at least until the weekend. Don't forget to save those threads for coins and the activity check!
If you'd like to get in contact with the Wordsmith, you can do so through letters or the switchboard!]

Later she finally sees the garden, where she takes a book with her and sits beneath a tree. It feels like she's in Halure, honestly, and she could stay here forever! It's a shame Rule 3 prevents her from sleeping her or else she would gladly do that.
Overall, it took a few days, but she's back to her usual demeanor, even if it's a more calm version than usual. Still, she appears to be slightly distant. Though she won't hesitate to smile and at least say 'hello'.]
new library;
Ah, Estelle, looking to add something to your new reading collection?
no subject
I figured I would see if they had anything here of interest.

[ Mikazuki notices, and he's glad for it. It naturally lightens up his mood, and making him even forget what today is, whoops. ]
Do you feel like reading me a story?
no subject
Of course! What kind of story would you like to hear?
[There's a definite excitement in her voice, something one may not have seen in quite a while. Books are definitely her thing.]
no subject
[ Mikazuki certainly picks up on that... what else can he do but offer encouragement? Of course, right after that, he is reminded it is a Thursday, but he is actually very interested in hearing her reading to him. ]
But, I suppose I do prefer it if it a happy story, so let us hope that's in there as well.
no subject
I could find one to read to you.
[Hmm, what would be a good one.]
Oh, here's one about a girl who goes to war disguised as a man so her father wouldn't have to serve. I skimmed through it earlier, however, it does appear to have a good ending.
[She'll hold up a book called "Xiaolan".]
no subject
Then, I think I would love that one. I'm glad we're ones for happy endings; sour ones do leave quite the bad taste in my mouth.
[ He goes to seat himself though, and prepared to pay rapt attention! \o/ ]

So Estelle starts to read. It's about a girl who her family is set to find a suitable husband, but once she goes out, it's found she's not your normal girl. She's more rambunctious and prefers to be active than learning how to be a housewife.
Though she dearly loves her family, so when her crippled father is asked drafted for war, she decides to take things in her own hands.
Naturally, Estelle's voice fluctuates with exciting scenes and softens during calm and kind ones. It's clear that she loves stories in general as she reads aloud. The story's not close to done yet, but her voice is getting a little tired, so she takes a small break after the chapter where Xiaolan gets in a fight with the other men, but has a difficult time acting just as 'manly' as them.]
no subject
I like the story more than I thought I would...Miss Xiaolan is quite the woman.
[ It's a story he is glad he hasn't heard of yet, so he could experience it... ]
Thank you for deciding to read out loud to me, by the way. I can tell you are putting in quite the effort, and it is very admirable.
no subject
[She giggles a bit at hearing his response to her reading the story. Honestly, she's pretty happy.]
And you're welcome. I'm glad you enjoy it.
[Though he calls the character 'Miss'... which really gets Estelle to think...]
This might be a bit of a tangent, and I promise to finish the story, but may I ask you why you no longer call me 'Miss' Estelle?
[It's not a bad thing, but he's very polite and she certainly hopes she hasn't insulted him. Then again, she knows herself and she sometimes drops prefixes (or suffixes) from people she's found herself closer to. She... just doesn't want to assume.]

new library
Yo, Estelle. Nice to see you out and about.
no subject
Oh, hello Guzma! I figured it was about time to see what there was to offer on this floor.
[And you know she was out of it if she didn't practically run to the new library!]
no subject
I mean, there's probably some good stuff in here, too. I just haven't really been looking, I guess.
no subject
[Though she may argue now that's not the case either, but she's a million times better than she was.]
How have you been? Oh and your Pokemon, have they also been well?
no subject
Anyway, I've been pretty alright, I guess. The Pokemon are always doing pretty good, but I'm pretty annoyed because the spray paint got confiscated.
no subject
[Yeah she didn't get involved in that, but she's noticing a lack of that this week.]
Do you suspect the Wordsmith got upset?

[Despite the fact that he's allowing death to happen, and that's still not okay?!]

[Bruce is strolling through, with a hand tucked in his suit jacket. Can't hurt to say something to her.]
no subject
It is... it almost makes me... forget where we are and what's happening.
no subject
[He smirks.]
With everything that's been happening, we could use some serenity around here.
no subject
[Or maybe it's just her.]
