WEEK 6 With the deaths of Viktor Nikiforov, Varric Tethras, and Killia, you're down to half of your original number. There's only fifteen of you left. How much longer before your number drops again? Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Of course, that doesn't mean that you've gained nothing else among the many, many losses you've faced; it seems that another floor has been made available to you for surviving another week. Congratulations and well done, even if you might not necessarily appreciate the reward. APPRENTICES REMAINING: 15

[Estelle has some extra energy, so maybe the dojo is a good place to go and just clear her head and keep up with working to fight with her fists.

Though she enters and sees Gangrel...

She could try to just... turn around and go back to her room because that's what she's going to try to do.]

[Well, there goes that plan. Instead she gives Gangrel and very forced and awkward smile.]

U-um, I figured this... would be a good time to train. Yes, that.

[And a very nervous chuckle goes here.]

...Well, it is. That's why I'm here.

[He twirls the sword around as if in explanation.]

[firstaid]

[Right...

...she wants to run away, but... she can't. She's been spotted so she gathers her courage and bows deeply.]

I'm terribly sorry about my behavior at the trial.

[And she'll remain in that bowed position until he speaks.]

I'm not going to say it's fine, because it wasn't. Isn't. I can understand why you wouldn't let up and I can see why you wouldn't trust me, so it's not as though it was a surprise.

[It's difficult to know what to do with this, honestly. He's still sort of pissed, in that sullen "why doesn't anyone ever believe anything I say" obnoxious way of his, but it's not like he's genuinely mad. It's Complicated, as is pretty much everything in this stupid school.]

The apology's appreciated, I suppose.

[She can't help but gulp at his words. This is hard for her to deal with, but she understands those words and is... somewhat grateful for his honest response. Though she doesn't get up from her position quite yet because she doesn't want Gangrel to see her expression. It's frustrated. She has words she wants to say, but she holds them back.

Right now is a time for an apology and not 'if only you had...'. She doesn't need that pain to come back especially since she's starting to rebound from this a little.]

[She tries to say something, but just a cracked noise comes out. Nothing she would say would be kind.]

Y-you're welcome.

[Even that sounds forced.]

[Of course it sounds forced. He expected exactly that much, because this is an awkward situation and nothing can change that. Gangrel nods after a moment.]

...You don't need to bow. If you're here to train, then I can leave.

[Civility doesn't come easily to him and the words sound a little stilted, but it's an attempt, anyway.]

[She gets up and her expression does appear conflicted. Is she angry? Frustrated? Either way, she's not exactly hiding her emotions right now.]

No, it's fine. I'll... simply go elsewhere.

[And... that's pretty much what she's going to turn around to do right now. Go... somewhere else. Probably back to her room and just hole up again.]
