WEEK 8 Orihime Inoue and Mikazuki Munechika are dead thanks to the Wordsmith's motive. While only two have died this past week, it feels much emptier around here now. There's only ten of you left. There's so few of you now. Saturday is given to regrouping and rest; on Sunday morning the clock chimes as it always has, but at least there are no bodies to find today. It seems you're safe for now. The night before wasn't necessarily a peaceful one, however; you'll probably feel a bit groggy when you wake up, and it seems you've regained something that you didn't realize you'd lost... Unfortunately, regardless of how well you may or may not have done this week, it seems that there's nothing else for you here. No new floors have opened up below the seventh; it looks like for now, that truly is all. Perhaps it's a good sign. Perhaps it's one of the worst yet. Only time will tell. Ah, flower language? I am afraid I am not familiar with the intricacies of it, but I know of a few. Neither of the flowers I used, however.

I believe those are...purple carnations, and dahlia. Do those have some kind of meaning to them?

... Honestly, all of those can be so vague. But dignity, grace. Good taste? [ Perhaps a little instability, depending, but hey. ]

I see. It seems I did a halfway acceptable job of picking.

[It's a little joking, at least. Lusamine smiles never the less, though, picking up one of the megaphones idly.]

I've never been one for looking into the meaning of some of these. I know roses imply romance, and that is about it.

I've never given it much mind, but... well, I've also had near six times as much time to take a passing interest. Even if I am ignorant of some things, it would be hard not to learn other.

[ It's said with more or less a shrug. But... she is totally resisting touching her crown more, preening a bit ]

I imagine not. Knowing you, perhaps you predated the meaning of some of these flowers, hm?

I've lived in two lands with two different languages for them!

Regardless of the language, I am at least pleased I found something that matched. The meaning is secondary to such things.

...I never implied that you weren't, Elda. I'd be far more judgmental if someone did do something so obscene in these walls.

If that is what you wish to believe, though...then I will not begrudge you. It does not change matters, however~

Here, of all places? Elda, we have far more things to worry about than that! There are far better places to do such things.

But it is precisely because we are here that a warm body next to you in bed would be a comfort! Given the chance to have a night with your Gangrel, wouldn't you have taken it?

...I would have, yes. It would have certainly been nice to not feel so alone.

[...She just means sleeping, though. Lusamine knows well that sleeping alone after sleeping with another for so long can be a little bit jarring to get used to again. The sound of another's heartbeat is nice.]

.... Not that I should allow you to say you are alone, but the point remains. With or without sex, you would have enjoyed the man's company. Perhaps, given time, you might well have kissed, and that would have felt nice. Passion might've taken over at some point. If you can find such comfort - yes, even here - I see no problem in living it out.

[ Maybe that's just her philosophy. She's a little bit selfish, all things considered. As she looks over the dining room, she says this, but bites her lip at the end as if considering offering something more. ]

--Okay, allow me to make it clear that that part of it all would not take place until we were both out of this wretched place, and...comfortable with pursuing such endeavors. We had only realized when he was about to die, you know.

[They were both still kind of awkward about saying what they felt, and even a small kiss was kind of. Yeah.]

...I would simply have been happy to hear his heart next to me, and fall asleep knowing he was alive. That would have been more than enough.
