Week 3.

WEEK 3

Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept...

Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

[Thank you again, Cherryblod.]

Hmm, not looking for any, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to have some. Not every day I've gotten the pleasure to use a laundry machine.

[Like all you future folks.]

garudynamic: (flopping about)

[personal profile] garudynamic 2016-03-19 12:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, a huge one. But really... it's more I can't sleep.

[And indeed he looks exhausted, but still as jittery and toe tapping as always]

I feel like a rabbit or something.

[...that's not a non sequitur, honest]
sleepingkogoro: (think)

[personal profile] sleepingkogoro 2016-03-19 12:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, the dreams. That seems like a sensible decision. Good job.

[Mouri at least isn't going to pry any further without Speedwagon's authorization. Dreams are...kind of private, especially if they end being as ugly as Megumi's or as life changing as Yosuke's.

Hey, being considerate isn't so hard!]

I have been making my own notes too, but they are more about the people here and my theories about this situation. I don't think I should reveal anything yet, but I have been writing all that in case...

...in case something ever happens to me, as unlikely as that is.
sleepingkogoro: (no way im wrong)

[personal profile] sleepingkogoro 2016-03-19 12:55 pm (UTC)(link)
[That sure was a colorful tale. Unexpectedly colorful. What happened to the relative calm of the bard songs, this is not at all what he thought it would be.

Mouri visibly needs some time to recover]
wokeupdead: (the joke is she died 5 times in one day)

[personal profile] wokeupdead 2016-03-19 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)
[Another sigh as she shakes her head, no.]

It was something else I was unclear on. Something I was unclear on since I got here.

It looks like memory problems are pretty common for me, huh?

[A small little smile. It's why she's so willing to believe these dreams are real in the first place.]
bloodisthicker: oh no, it's hot (guys... fucking...)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-19 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
[...hmmm. Is there a pattern to it, or does it just seem like the natural result of people who aren't trained librarians putting books back on a shelf?]
bloodisthicker: oh no, it's hot (guys... fucking...)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-19 11:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I suppose it's just taste, then.

Monopoly, huh? What's that one about?

[gabriel, we're trying not to kill each other here]
captainobnoxious: (19 yeah that's broken)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-20 12:08 am (UTC)(link)
[.................]

Like a boat for the sky? That's so weird, but it makes sense since boats already float.

[Yes.]

And anyone who knew how they worked died like, a hundred years ago or something, so unless we find books for it we're going nowhere fast. The Danes probably have an idea though. They like collecting useless things.
captainobnoxious: (12 matter o' fact kids)

[personal profile] captainobnoxious 2016-03-20 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
I know, it's too awesome for words.

[Pluck pluck pluck. She's so happy about it.]
psychoh: (I'll send 'em howling)

[personal profile] psychoh 2016-03-20 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
[nods again]

There's... We're alone, out there. It can't be anyone else.
isafraid: (Yup. Yup. Yup. Yup. Yup. Yup. Yup.)

[personal profile] isafraid 2016-03-20 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
I thought it was an excellent idea myself. [There's only so much sitting around and moping on the subject one can do before they have to take their thoughts to a quill and ink... nd since neither of those are around here, he had to learn how to use pencils.

He appreciates the consideration, though, certainly enough that he isn't closing up from Mouri.
]

Hmm. I get it. [He gives a grave nod.] It would cause quite the stir if one of our detectives met their end without so much as a helpful letter. It's a wise move, I'll say.
psychoh: (mama the angels)

[personal profile] psychoh 2016-03-20 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
I'll come with. [he says, maybe a bit too quickly.

he stands, hands in his pockets, ready to follow her.]
bloodisthicker: also vote for me k (here let me flatter the shit out of you)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-20 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Oh... huh. Well, maybe someone else knows how to run one, then.

Or we could just make things up as we go.
devastation: (a woman scorned)

[personal profile] devastation 2016-03-20 01:02 am (UTC)(link)
[They head to the kitchen, and Megumi doesn't say much while preparing the tea until it's done, sliding a cup over for him to take.]

Here we go... I hope this helps you feel a little better, Norman-san.

[The quality of tea provided in murdervault might be debateable, but it should be alright to drink since she knows what she's doing when it comes to making tea.]
prismbloom: (sacred moon)

[personal profile] prismbloom 2016-03-20 01:09 am (UTC)(link)
[ ... yeah he's got a point ]

I imagine wood could be used as a weapon, too. [ Way to make even the most mundane item secretly horrifying, Kingmaker. ] I'll take a look around.

[ She pauses to laugh here, a bit. ]

As long as you don't get too carried away--if you're not careful, someone might think you're a tyrant.
prismbloom: (divine rose)

[personal profile] prismbloom 2016-03-20 01:11 am (UTC)(link)
Neither do I. But it must be, somehow, or we'd have more problems than just being trapped here.
prismbloom: (no name)

[personal profile] prismbloom 2016-03-20 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
[ ... She catches onto that. ]

I'm here, if you want to at any time. If you need anything, don't hesitate to let me know, alright?
prismbloom: (crown of guilt)

[personal profile] prismbloom 2016-03-20 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
[ That's... a lot of warning labels, yeah. Aqua looks vaguely uncomfortable as she pokes through them. ]

If it were any other situation, I'd be more confused. Considering who's brought us here, though...
prismbloom: (brightcrest)

[personal profile] prismbloom 2016-03-20 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
It would make things easier. Nothing here seems to be easy at all, no matter how clear-cut the "rules."
bloodisthicker: punched any equalists lately (so how you doin')

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-20 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
I usually am too, but there's a certain point where the other party is far too reprehensible for me to be able to engage in productive discussions with them. It's probably good to know your limits, right...

...and oh, that... sounds pretty fun, actually. I'd imagine there's still a lot of strategy to it, since you're still watching your opponent, even if you can't see their side of the field.
bloodisthicker: there, i said it (your face is a huge jerk.)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-20 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
...oh, that... wasn't quite my intention, although it would be nice if it could get under there. Under normal circumstances, I could probably use water to get us in there somehow, but... that's really not the case.
bloodisthicker: you sure about that (well this is awkward)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-20 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
...it's a very expansive kingdom in my world with multiple states to it? I don't really know how to describe it other than that.
bloodisthicker: equalists attacking, bloodbending the-uhhhh... (rough day man)

[personal profile] bloodisthicker 2016-03-20 02:12 am (UTC)(link)
...no, I definitely understand what you're getting at.

[...he could connect the dots there...]

Although... maybe it's more like a herd animal than a rabbit, here. You could die at any time, or anyone you know could die... and there's not really much you can do to stop it.
sleepingkogoro: (this cant be right)

[personal profile] sleepingkogoro 2016-03-20 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
...that is a problem.

[To say the least]

And you dreamed that. It's no wonder you are despairing.

Don't worry too much yet. These dreams may not be over yet, maybe in a future dream you'll know how this is going. Who knows, maybe she was judged innocent, if the case somehow already reached the police's attention.
garudynamic: (Deep thought)

[personal profile] garudynamic 2016-03-20 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah... like prey. I read this book a while back- it was about rabbits. And they found this other group in a... den?

[Warren, Yosuke. But A for effort]

Anyways, these other rabbits were fat and happy all the time. But it was because a farmer fed them and shot any predators... and once and awhile one of them would just get caught in a snare and taken away. And they didn't even care... because they couldn't stop it, and hey, they got free food and someone only died once and awhile...

I dunno, that's kinda how I feel here. Like every time someone gets taken away we'll start caring less and less. And it's only been twice.

[Yu gave him that book. Said he might like it. Goddamn it]
