WEEK 3 Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

As I'm lead to believe, there's supposed to be something I can use to turn this on.

[Bruce takes a moment to study said controls of said washing machine, and then he points out where the power button is.]

[Speedwagon earnestly follows Bruce's investigation of the washing machine, and he seems glad when the problem has been absolved.]

The tubs are good for their own purposes too. The machines are just generally faster if you want a generic wash.

That's the point of a machine, isn't it? Making things easier on ya. A horseless carriage doesn't need poor horses to pull it around everywhere.

Yes, more or less. [Smiles.] By my time there have been a lot of technological advances to help improve the general quality of life.
