Week 3.
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!
The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

TUESDAY
INCENTIVE.
I have another announcement for all of you. You have ten minutes to gather in the dining room.
[...And just like last week, that's mostly a formality, because he can still be heard throughout the Vault even if you didn't show up. So the announcement is impossible to miss, even if you're still in your room or just feeling rebellious and stayed where you were.
Either way, he seems pretty invested in what he has to say today.]
The Vault is full of opportunities. You're completely provided for, and no one has to go without if they ask for what they need. Unfortunately, all opportunities come with a price.
The price I'm asking for is blood. Specifically, from one of you.
You're probably going to say that I'm forcing you to kill someone. I'm not. If you don't pick someone to pay the price yourselves within the next four days, someone will be selected by me. That person will die, and you all can go back to living your lives.
It'll be completely randomized, so it's not as though I'll play favorites. Maybe it'll be you or someone you care about. Maybe it won't. If it's you, though, you probably won't like how you go out.
Or you guys can pick someone. It'd be a great chance to try to complete Rule Seven. Somebody's going to die anyway, right?
You have four days to make your choice. For now, you're free to return to your activities.
[As before, any attempts to question the Kingmaker will be met with silence; looks like he's done for today.]
Re: INCENTIVE.
Not disguising your intentions anymore, eh? This is practically admitting all you want is to see everyone in here die.
Not that anyone believed you had any other plans, of course.
[That is not even an incentive, nobody will fall for it, right?]

If it's just blood, do you think he'd accept the thing we did in the first trial as a suitable offering? It would technically be following his incentive.

He's spending a lot of time in the art studio this afternoon; it's somewhere to be, and it looks like he's actually utilizing the kiln to make something today – though god only knows what, because from the look of it he's heating up nondescript bricks of clay to end up with...ceramic nondescript bricks (which is, to be fair, probably the exact sort of creativity failure that one would expect from a fucking robot, if the robot were anyone else). He seems pretty satisfied with them, though, and he's making a good amount of them from the look of it. At least he doesn't have to worry about burning himself on anything in there.
He'll have some paint out while he waits for his, uh, bricks to finish, though, and he'll be just kind of messing around on one of the canvases for a while; it's very obviously an idle thing, though, because holy shit absolutely no one is legitimately interested in painting that many Bob Ross-style happy little trees. No one does that because they genuinely want to. No one. But apparently that is what he's doing with himself this afternoon, because it's easy and he's bored and he's got to do something with himself while the kiln does its thing, and for all intents and purposes it seems somebody may have utterly broken the robot in the creativity department.
From early evening onward, though, he'll be fairly easy to find; he's spending a fair amount of time in Room 13 again, and from the look of it he's actually using the bed like a sane person instead of lying on the floor. So that's. Improvement? Probably? It seems like he's made a few changes to the décor since last week – the...whatever he did to that fabric-painted blanket is still there and set up with those stupid tuning forks, but otherwise the million goddamn happy trees have joined the bizarre flowers where they're propped up against the wall, along with another canvas with his signature on it, drawn out and glittered-up using the same method as the flowers.
He's also got a hugeass poster taped up on the wall above his bed; looks like the vending machine was nice to him recently.
Either way, he's alternating between just sort of listlessly looking up at those stars he's got painted on the ceiling, and texting determinedly again; things are going either really well or really poorly for him today; it's a little difficult to tell, all things considered.]

That certainly was... something.
As everyone else has their own reactions to it Bruce himself is quiet... almost too quiet, really. He leaves silently from the dining hall, and for a while stays in his own room at room 9, doing some personal things and mulling over what the Kingmaker had said.
Later on in the day - and earlier than how it usually is - there's already the summary of yesterday's meeting duct taped at the bulletin board. Just as with the previous times it details everything they discussed; the incentives, their continued dreams, possibility of fakes and opinions for a set curfew.
Apparently when Bruce is lost in thought, he can get these things out quicker.
Later on he can be found in the library returning the many books he had borrowed, and in the first aid room doing another round of stock checking. He can also be found wandering between the second and third floors for most of the day as well... up until after nighttime, where Bruce is in the dining hall, nursing some tea he had managed to get from the kitchen before nighttime came in and looking lost in thought as his hands fiddle with the mobile he had gotten from Aqua last week.]

Once the discussion in the dining hall comes to an end, he exits in a bit of a hurry and heads to room 20, his room, for a while. He keeps the door closed, but he'll answer if anyone needs him for something.
In the late afternoon, he can be found out and about in the second laundry room, where he's writing down a detailed inventory of every chemical that can be found in the storage room and just...trying to get his mind off of what happened earlier in the day. He writes out a copy for personal reference, and tapes the original near Mettaton's super glittery sign-out sheet.
Colress spends the rest of his evening in the dining hall with a cup of coffee and two of the Showa Radios that Caren gave him the previous week. He's taken one of them apart entirely with a toolkit, and is inspecting the pieces with great curiosity as he goes about reassembling it with the complete one as reference. It's something cathartic for him to do, really.]

Aqua focuses not on the newest floor, but on the first floor. She's poking around (probably in vain, but who knows?) to see if there's any way down. She tries the storage room--making sure everything is in place and accounted for, too, while she's there--before moving onto the laundry room, the kitchen (where she makes a fresh pot of vanilla tea, too), the dining room, the library, and the incinerator. Honestly, her search takes her pretty much all day and night... but she's determined.
Later at night, the door to room 15 will be open a crack; she's plucking away at a violin she took from the music room. Aqua has a book propped up against her pillow, and right now, she's just going over how to read the music. ]

MAKE AND BRING SOMETHING IF YOU CAN
FEATURING A SUPER FUN MYSTERY EVENT!!
So there's that!!
Otherwise, Yato can be found in the morning before the Kingmaker's announcement in the sewing room making himself the a fairly basic yukata. He's gotta wear something other than ceremonial robes every once in a while, and he's not really feeling the jumpsuits.
After the incentive, he disappears for a while, presumably working on the posters — but in the evening, he reemerges to occupy the kitchen, where he seems to be creating some sort of... extremely artistic fruit platter with a pair of knives, one large and one small for detail work. He's wasting almost nothing of the fruit getting them into fancy flower designs, though, and whatever he does need to cut loose just ends up in these cute fruit skewers. It's probably kinda obvious what he intends to contribute to the potluck party, huh.
... Finally, in the evening, after a remarkably busy day for him, he can be found lying stomach-down to the ground in the library. What is he doing, you might wonder. The answer is simple: crying dramatically. ]
... Hiyori! Yukine!! It's been so long since I saw your beautiful faces... [ sniff... ] Yukine, you better not have been unfaithful to me and run off to some other god... [ sniffing escalates ] Hu.....gh.... okay, I feel better now.
[ Apparently, he just needed ten minutes to be a dramatic wreck. He's done now. ]
