trusthell | Week 3.

WEEK 3
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept...

Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

Alright, so, show of hands. Give me a fist if you want to start a face off to weed out the weak, a thumbs up if you're willing to sacrifice yourself for the good of all, or your pinky if you'd rather not do either of those things.

King, you can just say which option you'd like.

You can't be serious about having a face off.

[He does expect somebody to go and offer to sacrifice for the good of all, though. He won't approve it at all, so his plan is to check who does indicate that and convince them in private to not to do it]

Well, I mean, there's no better way to die than to go down fighting in my opinion, so what's the harm in put it up as an option?

You can come up with an idea with others who vote your way, but I'm really down with cutting everyone again to satisfy him. It'll be painless for most people.

I wouldn't mind that either since it's the easiest, and it'd fulfill what he wants. [ technically.... speaking....... ] I'll try to think of something else too.

I'll take into consideration everyone's votes, whether one wins out or not. Anyone who doesn't want to do either will offer up their ideas when they have them and we can put them on the table too.

While physical strength and fighting prowess is indeed a good skill to have, it is hardly the defining feature of usefulness and worth in this setting. And honestly, I imagine the results would be rather skewed by default.

We aren't having a face off. I support the King in figuring out a way to not have anyone die.

I also agree wholeheartedly with the King, because I absolutely cannot stand the idea of the Kingmaker actually getting what he wants here.
