Week 3.
Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done. |
SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

What will you be checking out next?

[Maybe just one or two... who knows.
He's still deciding.]

[Just another thing to help him pass the days... yep.]

[Bruce says it without a beat, and he manages a smile, too, although its more polite than anything else.]
I'll look forward to that.
no subject
What are we going to do about that incentive?
no subject
I'm not sure. There's still some time, so...
[Think. He has to think.]
no subject
[This is the kind of situation where Caren would be completely right: they can't afford to play around.]
no subject
We still have a choice.
[...not a very pleasant choice, but.]
no subject
[Who would?
Don't answer that.]
no subject
[If not one of them, then the Kingmaker himself.
Would they be so willing to leave it up to fate?]
no subject
I don't think I could choose. At best I might go along with a majority vote and hate myself for it.
no subject
[His jaw clenches for a moment, and Bruce glances away. Sugarcoat it however you want, its still terrible.]
One way or another he's forcing even more blood on our hands. If we choose, we bear the guilt. If we don't choose, we still bear the guilt anyway.

[Or else... well, Bruce will ensure there is one. Somehow.]

I don't care for Sigrun's 'fight to see who's most useless' idea.

Well.]
No, that defeats the whole purpose of what we're trying to accomplish.

[She's strange sometimes.]
no subject
She's doing her best to help, in her own way.

[Seriously, have you seen him. He's all ruffles and passiveness.]

[Kogoro, maybe, but ehhh.]
