WEEK 3 Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive. Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept... Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. [ The bird happens to wander in at just the right time--Could walking into crying really be called one? Unused to the experience of having to console somebirdie other than himself, The King tries, nonetheless! It sounds pretty important. ]

Y-yes, The King said hello, in his worried voice? I-is the god alright?!

[capyper]

Oh, it's Your Highness! [ Just give him a second to wipe his face on his sleeves. He's okay! ... Probably!! ] Don't worry about it, Your Highness! I'm alright ... Just thinking about home.

That sounds... not alright. But The King understands. [ He pauses a bit, before inquiring again. ] They are important to you?

[ He heard those names... ]

Yeah... they're the people I miss the most here. I even got my title from one of them, actually.

[ "Regaled". It must be because of how important Yukine, his Regalia, is to him. ]

But we're all like that here, I think! We all have important things we left behind.

Oh... so The Kingmaker also knew about that.

[ The King frowns. ]

The King thinks... he would be mad if a special nickname was being used by someone as bad as him! [ Aren't titles like badges of honor?! ]

It is kinda annoying... but I don't mind! It's true that my relationship with my Regalia is super, super important to me, after all. That reminds me, though...

[ He's been curious about some of the titles that people have gotten. ]

What do you think of your title?

As his thoughts returned to a grim memory--The Bird King seems to momentarily turn a dark blue and grow a second, smaller head. ]

The King... does not know what to think of it.

[ ... okay, he thinks he's just going to back away from this topic, the King doesn't need to be growing extra heads... ]

Well, we all know he's got some pretty bad naming sense! I mean, who would ever call themselves Kingmaker willingly? It's just... so pretentious!

[ At the least that seems to be the extent of his bad mood for the time being... He's back to normal soon enough. ]

The Kingmaker... is a waste of "King". The King is upset he doesn't treat anyone like a good leader should. Plus... he already knows your names but refuses to use them. [ LOOK WHO'S TALKING. ]

[capyper]

Right, right! And besides, we've already got a fine king right here, what do we need another one being made for?!

[ He's not even teasing he'd vote the King for their official king ]

[ The King seems to be honored and amused, both at the same time...! His eye sparkles, not sure if he should sound more proud or humble. ]

The King doesn't mind sharing, if the other king is also kind. [ If only it wasn't this guy pulling the strings... ]

[capyper]

I wouldn't mind having some of these others guys as a co-king either... Tarrlok's a politician, I guess that's pretty leader-like as well! And Sigrun would be a really wild king, but I bet it'd be kind of fun.

[ ... Extremely questionably fun? But still fun, and that's what really counts. ]
