Week 3.

WEEK 3

Another week has passed; two more Survivors are gone. Pearl and Caren both had someone to fight for, someone worth killing for; perhaps it's for the best to hope that somehow they've found peace despite not being able to collect on the Kingmaker's incentive.

Saturday is given to regrouping and sleep; there aren't any bodies to be found on Sunday morning. That doesn't mean the night passed easily, though - it seems another piece of your personal puzzle may have fallen into place while you slept...

Following that spiral staircase up to the second floor will reveal something strange; those stairs definitely lead far higher than you remember, up to a previously inaccessible third floor. Go ahead and explore as much as you like; consider it your reward for a job well done.

SURVIVORS REMAINING: 23

SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
[OOC: Welcome to week two of Trustfell! Save your threads for coins and the coming week's activity check; don't forget to check in to this week's activity check and submit your memory regains!

The text and calling posts are still active, for the sake of contacting the jerk who's keeping you here, to be used at your leisure!]

Right. Somebody's gotta keep their head!
amygdalae: I wish things could go your way (is that what you think?)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-16 02:14 pm (UTC)(link)
You seem to be doing a good job of that yourself.
goodforsomething: (⛵ this is such an old man face)

[personal profile] goodforsomething 2016-03-16 02:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Ha! Yeah, you don't want me in charge here.
amygdalae: it was never meant to last. (and so it goes.)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-16 04:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Why not? I think it'd be worth a try.
goodforsomething: (⛵ probably going to disregard this)

[personal profile] goodforsomething 2016-03-16 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
I can get us whiskey, but I dunno about gettin' outta here.
amygdalae: dun dun DUUUUN (we're not a team; we're a timebomb)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-17 01:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Just being able to keep morale high in general is already good enough, I would say.
goodforsomething: (⛵ probably going to disregard this)

[personal profile] goodforsomething 2016-03-17 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeeeeah, I guess it's not bad. But there's a big difference between doin' that and actually keepin' shit together.
amygdalae: (look what we've got here)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-17 05:46 pm (UTC)(link)
And again: you're doing a decent job of that, or so I've seen.
goodforsomething: (⛵ oh my fucking god ford)

[personal profile] goodforsomething 2016-03-17 06:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[oh my god bruce you are infuriating]

Just shut up and take a compliment, nerd.
amygdalae: I do not remember planes being this hideous (yeah total awkward)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-17 07:07 pm (UTC)(link)
[Sorry Stan, he can't take a compliment to save his life.]

Ah--[yeah, there's some surprise here]--thank you then, I suppose.
goodforsomething: (⛵ probably going to disregard this)

[personal profile] goodforsomething 2016-03-18 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
You're welcome.

[was that so difficult]
amygdalae: (science tiem)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-18 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
[yes. yes it was.]

...I still stand by what I said earlier, though. [That they all don't really need him.]
goodforsomething: (⛵ dramatic shadow grunk)

[personal profile] goodforsomething 2016-03-18 02:22 pm (UTC)(link)
[Stan just shrugs.]

People need a lot less than they think they do. Doesn't mean it's easy to go without.
amygdalae: inspire. expire. (inhale. exhale.)

[personal profile] amygdalae 2016-03-18 03:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[There are things Bruce knows he can probably say to that, but none of them would be appropriate for this. So instead he just nods and does his best to stifle a sigh.]

You have a point.
